Good try, but this looks fresh out of a 1980's game. You could improve on the drawing style, so it's not just face on and there's some depth etc.

The background isn't too imaginative either, the blue is okay but the grass is too... wierd. Tone down the contrast, use more natural colours and just don't copy and paste patterns like you did.

Also, did you blow it up? I should really be able to see the individual pixels this easily, are you sure you were using pencil on 1pt?

But no, good first try, keep working at it and spend time on everything, you can't pixel without patience. A good pixel should take hours, if not days to complete, don't try to cut corners because it's cheating tongue.gif

i agree with everything caboose said

i also have a few things tat may be helpful stry studying human anatomy make your pixels realistic it can be realistic and cartoony at the same time ;p like actual human shape not blocky but you can use the colors and shading to make it look cartoony but also try to make everything you pixel ur own ur own style but dont be like "its sapposed to be completle horrible thats my pixeling style"

that seems to be happening alot

and hers a quick question lol is his name pixely joe because his pixels are rather large or because hese pixel art ????

take all the advice everyone gives inot consideration people can be harsh butt its for the greeter good of ur pixel it will help
