need lots of improvements as its my first in a while so i consider it my first pixel
will add shading soon, please point out an imperfections or problems that i can improve or fix.
I have allot of time to work on it so i hope it will look great in the end, it may seem simple because it is havent been able to figure out any creative ideas.
thanks for your input,

Made castle neater now im going to shade it and upload it gonna take my time so it might be a while

I think i might try to make it isometric but its still going to be a pixel it seems nealy impossible for me to add all the details to the castle if its just 2d

so far i have

going to make it more pixelish and make it so it isnt symetrical and make to towers roundish im thinking about putting something inside it but there isnt much room

Added more shaped and a few basic colors i need to resise it and shade it soon just gonna take it slow im suprised how good it turned out it seems kinda semetrical because it is I will make it look more natural soon.

Btw i dont plan on using these colors just wanted to color label the different shapes so it was easier to work with.

I was thinking about taking away all the black lines to i did it will look better when i add a background and shade it but ill upload it anyway.

Im hoping to atleast start the shading today i dont plan on finishing today because i want to take my time and not rush it so much.

Today i will atleast add better colors so it will look like its older and not brand new like it does right now. later on i am somehow going to merge my first pixel into the isometric one. I still cant seem to figure out what i want to put inside the castle suggestion would be appreciated smile.gif

Decided to add a gate instead of a door im having a little trouble making the bars but i got the outline of if to far.

I plan on resizing it once everything else is finished but idk how to do it without disorting it.

My next upload will have allot more changes going to work on it for a bit.

its starting to look more like a castle now added more basic shapes which makes it look allot more advanced

I made allot of changes this time but havent bugun shading it yet i addeded some different colors i may keep some or add different ones

Added a nice drawbridge to the castle I think it looks great.

I am going to add more detail to the bridge soon.

good design, but you might wanna start off by making just half the castle first, duping it, and then adding a river.

So it should be the same on both sides? I kinda wanted it to not look even but the tops of the castle should atleast be the same.

Definitely do not dupe, the shading will be messed up and the image will look strange.

To improve this image it needs a lot more effort. I understand you have just started working on it but taking base colors and scribbling them on really shouldn't have taken you more than a minute.

Simplicity for an image is fine just concentrate on the smaller details. Where you want to head with this image is expanding the castle. Think of how a castle looks; they have layers of walls, many towers of different heights and sizes, a keep, etc. You need to define bricks and add windows. Try looking up castles on googles images, or another search site.

Add some perspective to your drawbridge and remember that the door would not extend to the top of the wall.

Effort = Progress, if you apply the effort, the image and your skills will get better. Good luck. happy.gif
