Don't get me wrong, I hate bandwidth caps and would like to support him. But I really don't see how this would work...Surely all the ISPs would go bankrupt because they still have to pay for the bandwidth they use?

You mean unlimited bandwidth on all contracts? That's a stupid idea, if you have want of unlimited bandwidth then just pay for it, if you don't want to then don't complain. Seriously, it's like £10 a month, probably less in places.
