Yes, anyone with Jagex Product membership will be involved in this, if it takes place. I’m not involved directly with MechScape so I can’t confirm that this definitely will happen though.

It isn't 100% confirmed, don't get your hopes up

. It would be awesome if it were to take place, since FO membership is way cheaper than RS membership

I was going "What? The Beta is out already!?" when I saw this from the index page.

Looks like I may have a chance at saving some cash if this happens.

It's fair enough, they're just as much Customers as Runescape Members are.

I think he's saying that he can't confirm that there will be a beta, not that he can't confirm that FO members will get access to the beta. It's not real clear, but that's where I'm putting my money.

2. I know there will definitely be a beta, but Korpz didn't know that for sure. What he did know for sure was that, if there was a beta, FunOrb subscribers would have access to it. See the first sentence:

When he said he can't confirm that this will happen, "this" was referring to the beta itself, not FunOrb subscribers having access to it.

So we definitely know that there will be a beta (from MMG), and we definitely know that FunOrb subscribers will have access to the beta (from Korpz).

Right. Jagex may change their minds, but as it stands right now only RuneScape and FunOrb members will have access to the beta. There's also some speculation that you'll have to be a member of either site for a certain amount of time before the beta is released, but I have seen no evidence supporting that.

They wouldn't. It's just a beta, and that will only last a few months, do you think Jagex is greedy enough to only allow RuneScape members to have access to the beta?

Well this is beta so I'm sure MechScape will have its own membership fee so Jagex can take our monies.

This makes sense since more members would subscribe in order to get a 1st look at Mechscape. Who knows if it will even be that good?
