I just noticed I had a warning for a post that may of not been thought out to well. (I deserved it)

But it made me think maybe there should be a way to appeal warns that may simply just be misunderstandings no one is perfect including moderators.

Once every 30 days you can contact a moderator, ask them to review your posts and see if you can get a warn reduction. The rules have more information about it.

I would know. box.gif

If a warn is unfair I think you contact the mod who warned you.

Accidents happen. And you should be fully warned for accidents

But only if the accident was made by you and not the mod who warned you.

Having read the forum rules may or may not help:

Decreasing Your Warn Level:
Over time, your warn level can be decreased. If you make useful and helpful posts, the moderators will notice and will reward you by lowering your warn level. After at least a month (30 days), if you believe that you deserve a warn reduction, send a message to any staff member so that we can review your posts and make a decision to lower your warn level or not.

Besides that, if you feel that your latest warn was a mistake, you can contact the mod who gave it, and, in case the moderator does not change your warn, you may grovel at an administrator's feet, who will either review your warn [him|her]self (it's entirely possible that the warn will still stand) or get the whole staff to discuss the matter.
