Okay for what to bring this is my reccomendations.

I know for a fact atleast goggie is maging, so if you are playing I strongly reccomend bringing dragonhide, karlils, armadyl or ahrmis.
If you are meleeing as a defender then dont forget to bring str boosting items such as a torso or bandos, and maybe even potions.
If you think you'll end up with the flag, don't forget to bring some heavily defensive items such as barrows incase a zgs hits you.
For boots I'd reccomend mage bonus or melee boots so: Infinity > Wizzard > Dragon > Rangers. However whatever suits you.
For Weapons this should be obvious, if you need to pick a god sword, zgs is very good along with ags.
If you are poor then bringing dragonhide and a dragon weapon is a good and cheap outfit.

What definitely to bring:
- Castle war brace: wear these just before the game starts to recieve great boosts, then after the game has started drop it and equip your normal gloves
- Rune pick axe, for the underground these are very important to clear rocks. A MUST. Rocks are very fun btw, to drop them use an explosive potion on the hotspots.
- Ranging weapon: For when they use the stones if they are holding the flag.
- Dragon or zammy spear: The special is very usefull when someone drops a flag to clear opponents.
- Special attack weapon: To defend with.

What not to do:

If you dont' think your good enough to score which really is any 80/70- then don't because if you die, the enemy team can hold their own flag, making it harder for your team. Only go for it if you know you are capable of scoring without dieing.

You can only us 10 barricades, so be wise with placing these, if you place them in silly areas, or surround yourself in them to protect yourself then you are giving your team a disadvantage.

Extra tips:
- Mages are very usefull (ancients) also very fun.
- Invite your friends, try to make this as big as possible.
- Baricade the small door when leaving with a flag is very good.
- Using bandages on team mates heals them.
- Die on the steppign stones and the flag goes right back to its post.
- If you die with a flag because stones were dropped in the underground then unless the rocks are mined away, it will respawn back in its holder.
- Bring a range item!
- You can bring potions
- Dont team change, i'll invite 2 or 3 of my friends who are pros to go on both teams, so it should be very equal.
- Use the guthix portal, unless you have a personal preferance.

Sounds like a good idea to me. It might be a good idea to play on the actual Castle Wars worlds though, I doubt we'd be able to get the kind of numbers we had yesterday on a week-by-week basis. But it's definitely worth a try
