No don't. Jagex's motto is "Not RuneScape in space." This is a completely separate game, even more different than World of Warcraft is to RuneScape.

It's basically a futuristic MMORPG which is similar to Runescape. Expect lasers, ownage, mechs, guns and probably robotic familiars.

Wow...you don't know anything about MechScape, and you didn't even read the replies in this topic. The only similarities to RuneScape that we know about so far is that it runs in a browser, is programmed in Java, and it's made by the same company. And we have no evidence whatsoever that there will be familiars of any kind in MechScape.

Mechscape is Jagex's next Java MMORPG. Its going to be set in the future, not the past like Runescape.

I love MMORPG!
It's graphically like wow but a bit like wh40k or DOW with spaceships, you know space troop's droid's and battle robot's si-fi thing's like that.
