To be fair, you really shouldn't be calling people ignorant because they disagree with you. Considering how you have not given a single reason why they are metal other than saying "They are power metal". Arguably they are not metal, considering the singing is comparable to that of Madonna in pitch and tone, the guitars have no balls at all and the drums and bass are far from heavy. But I suppose this all depends on what your definition of metal is.

It's as simple as this: heavy metal is rock n' roll that is loud and heavy. Slayer is loud and heavy, therefore, a metal band. Cannibal Corpse is loud and heavy, therefore, a metal band (not a good one, however). Led Zeppelin is loud and heavy, therefore, a metal band - even though no one calls them heavy metal anymore.

It's ridiculous how people make complex qualifications as to what is "metal" which contradict themselves. Most metalheads really just think "If I like it, it's metal, if I don't, it's not".

@WhoeversaidDragonForceismetal Droganforce would be considered speed metal if they were actually metal.
