It depends how often you played in the first place. If you played daily, then like, a week. If you played a few times a week, then like a month.

I took a 345 day break. Then I started playing at a very mild pace, with breaks of 24, 28, 21, and 13 days (yes I kept track), and now I've been off for a another 109 days. So I'd say 1+ year for a quit.

I used to play everyday.
Last time I played was around a month or so ago, but I went on today just to say hi to buddies and Sal

I took a break for 730 days; 2 years.
No idea, I'd ever play again.

well it doesnt count as quitting if you dont play cause your on vacation for a few months but other than that, after you dont play for a month you can be considered as retired. it's different for everyone because every one has a different schedule and sometimes want to play but havent for a week or 2. so i guess it depends on the person.

RuneScape seems to get alot less popular every single time it's mentioned in my school. I guess lots of people are quitting and these "breaks" certainly do get alot longer all the time it happens to me. Hell, one of my breaks was a good 2 years and I eventually got hooked again about May last year. On an odd note, most F2P worlds are like ghost towns in comparison to what they used to be.
