Full Version: Allow A Thread In Suggestions...
Can i please open up a thread in suggestions about fakes for suggestions? At the moment the fakes forum is hidden away, a simple thread telling newbies that they can get pictures for suggestions and something to remind odler members would eb helpful. I'm not even asking for a sticky, jsut some leniance...
Your thread was primarily about requesting a fake (in fact, every line had the word "fake" in it). The way you had it set up meant the thread in RS Suggestions useless, each application would be copied over to another section to be worked on. You might as well have posted an advertisement for the fakes section at that. I have nothing against requesting images for suggestions, and as you said it could garner more interest in the fakes section. But as far as I'm concerned, the Suggestions forum is for ideas to add to the game, not request shops. If your shop was allowed, every section concerning graphics might as well post a topic for requests as well.
So where can easl put it? There is no screenshot/fake request.
Most of the shops are to do with this forum here, all I can think of is another subforum called runescape screenshot requests.
Unless you can post it somehwere else of course.

I'm not against fakers, the thread was reported and I took action in what I believed was right. A sticky is somewhat fair, but it would need to be organized properly and be efficient with enough demand.

First off, you're not paid? Nobody else is, either, so get off your horse. Besides that, if somebody advertises his thread anywhere else in the forum he'll get his topic closed. Why should fakers be an exception to that? The vibe I'm getting from you is that you should be able to do everything you want "because you're not paid". Guess what! I'm not paid either! Does that mean I can do whatever I wish? Ban people as I see fit? Suspend those who annoy me? No? Then why should YOU be allowed anything?

I think its fair to say that the fakes section is fairly empty, but we have a request for pixels and that forums even less active than fakes. Now I'm not gonig into the whole activeness of fakes agaisnt the emptiness of pixels and the forum space allocated, but a request sticky or link with a thing saying
" Get yo pictures from this link" isn't too hard to do and it won' really have a negative effect will it

You guys don't get it. It doesn't work. I've done the exact same thing until I realized nobody did it and that when people did, they were bad and unrealistic suggestions.

I never said that anybody gets paid, or that they should get paid. Lets get off the money subject, I was just using it to back up my points when Don said 'If your shop was allowed, every section concerning graphics might as well post a topic for requests as well.' I was trying to say that it was very different. Maybe I said it a little too strongly. I think it was the facepalm that did it, sorry
