An hour? Seriously, how slow is your internet connection? tongue.gif

Internet Explorer is WAAAAY better unless you want to download everything all over again (java, what ever allows you to watch videos on youtube, etc)
Caboose
You don't have to. I didn't. Java and Flash worked first time. I know of nobody else who had to do it. Firefox is faster, more secure, more customizable, has a better moral code and is better at everything i can think of.

well when i downloaded it youtube and all the other things didnt work. i guess it depends on what version you get, what computer you have, what things you've screwed up, and so on.

Since somewhere in version 2 of Firefox, I've become a fan. I found it to be a bit quicker than Internet Explorer. It's also more compliant with web standards and has a great community of add-on developers. Although Microsoft claims they are improving, Firefox is already far ahead. I noticed a big difference in speed between IE7 and IE8, but in a negative way. I also noticed it between FF3 and FF3.5, but it's only slightly slower. It seems that I'm among the minority who took the speed hits though.
