As the spotlight twirled and illuminated the stage
There was no doubt that this was a sensation.
Tingles went down their spines
as did their followers.
He scores a blockbuster role.
He's eating lunch with Tom Hanks
and partying with the big kids.
The fan base is beginning to grow
Days fly in the blink of an eye.
The pickett life isn't good enough for a sensation.
A barbeque with the family can't compare to a night on the town.
Our mother would be ashamed of what we do.
She never was able to get out of her two star town.
An honest man loves what he does, but a sensation loves the reward.
High-profile society is the highest of them all.
Things go too slow for the common man
But nothing could ever go wrong for a sensation.
He's getting ready for the Oscars.
This will be the greatest night of his life.
Only two things could ever get any bigger.
His money
and his ego.
It can take years to gain your fan base
But It only takes one day, and blood crazy hounds to take it away.
You become the class clown of society.
The pickett life will never come calling for you again.
For once you become a sensation,
There's no turning back.

NEW POEM - Razed
I can't remember the day, for it has been so long.
The day when I lost it all.
She took my children away from me.
And then they took my home.
All that was left was my life.
They wiped me off of the planet.
I had no name.
No one knew who I was.
Black suits were always around.
The man in the shadows was the devil.
I ran away from it all.
But I was always begin watched by an unknown force.
Paranoia is typical of the human mind
but this was more than real.
They kicked me into the dirt
But they couldn't destroy me.
I stood up and fought for myself again.
Only death could get in my way.
I gained the upperhand.
Their feeble plans were no good anymore
For I was always one step ahead of them.
They had not anticipated what would happen next.
No one could stop me.
I knew I could get away from them
even with their goons on my back.
This isn't 1984
Big brother will never get me.
It seems that my life was never in ruins.
It was only a new beginning.
