This would eliminate the need for moderators to check members signatures, because there would be a limit while creating it.

Anyone support?

Why must you take away my fun. There is supposedly a mod already installed that does this, but it's faulty or not properly installed. For some odd reason, I really enjoy reporting over sized signatures.

Still, this'd be quite usefull.

There used to be one installed, but it wasn't re-installed when the boards were last updated (presumably because it doesn't function properly with the newer version of the boards).


I may be mistaken, but that mod looks like it only looks for size in terms of height, not file size, and we already have a system to keep signatures to a maximum height (although our system is quite poor). And from looking at the comments on that mod, it probably isn't something that we would want to install here.

Steve, a lot of people seem to like this modification. I don't know why it was never installed, though.

The site that had that modification has disbanded, but I'm sure that the same modification is available on other sites.
