..::Who We Are::..
KO Unit is an official Runescape clan. Our clan sticks together like a family, and a positive community is something that we strive for. We aim for maturity however we do have fun. We do NOT tolerate flaming in any circumstance. KO Unit is a F2P BASED clan which hold several P2P events a month, we are primarily based in EST however we have a very active GMT/Europe time zone. We hold most events at a time which is decent for both time zones. We hold a vast amount of events, at least one every weekend and lots of different ones from clan warring, like FFA Manhunt, Fishing Competitions, PvP/BH, Woodcut & Chat, Firelighting competitions and many more including those official wars, random allied wars and Revenant Hunting. Currently we don't do any PKRIs so you won't need to have a wealthy bank. We now have a PK Team, we go out every week pretty much on a daily basis although currently we have a 20~ man (and woman) team we are still looking for more! Regardless of your clan rank you can be in the PK team.

..::Our History::..
The clan was made by a few friends back in November 2007, however it did not become big until May 2008, when the site was made. Then in September 2008 there was a major argument and half of the original K O Unit split off. We officialised ourselves in December 2008 and have since grown tenfold. We have introduced a few newer ranks which are working really well. We are currently discussing how to make our site better and the requirements to the clan.

-Active for events, in the clan chat, and on forums. These are loose guidelines, but simply the more involved you are, the higher your rank will be.
-80 Combat will get you official member staus, if you have not yet achieved please do join but you will be ranked junior but still be regarded equal.

Q. What are the ranks?

Member - After you are accepted, you will receive this rank.

Knight - Apply for this two weeks after joining. You are to be active on site and in the clan chat, and your combat level must be at least 70. Furthermore, you must have attended a minimum of two events.

Royal Knight - Apply for this one month after joining. You are to be active on site and in the clan chat, and your combat level must be at least 80. Furthermore, you must have attended a minimum of four events.

Council - Apply for this one after Royal Knight. To be awarded with this you must express your views in clan chat and on site, preferably constructively. You must have at least 90 Combat, and have attended a minimum of six events.

High Council - This rank is to be earned. This job is to come up with ideas for improving the clan, recognize other clan members and their acheivements.

Senate - This rank is to be earned. Their job is to understand and konw the other members of k0 these are the people who decide your rank, after you apply for it, they will be strict but fair.

Recruit Team - To become part of this team, you must show that you are a respectable and loyal clan member. You must have been in the clan for at least five months, and have attended at least 14 events. Finally, your combat level must be at least 90. This is merely a rank which specializes in bringing new people into the clan.

Events Team - To become part of this team, you must show that you are a respectable and loyal clan member. You must have been in the clan for at least five months, and have attended at least 14 events. Finally, your combat level must be at least 90. These create official events for the clan, you may also create your very own trips to places eg. gwd, corp beast, or kbd, if you want.

Warlord - To become part of the warlords (players who lead our wars), you must have been part of our clan for at least seven months. You must also be a respectable clan member and should have a combat level of at least 95.

Q. What is our home world? Do I always have to be on this world?

A. Our P2P home world is 116, and our F2P home world is 113. It would be nice if you kept us company, but you can play on any world you want. ---See suggestions above regarding home world.


Q. Do we have a clan chat? How about IRC?

A. Yes. We have both a clan chat and an IRC.

Q. Is multi-clanning allowed?

A. No. In order to be a part of KO, you must not be in any other clans. However, exceptions include unofficial clans, pest control teams, misc., etc.


Q. Can I host my own events?

A. Yes. Players are free to suggest and host their own events.
