Neo Avatars
Dear players,

We'd like to sincerely apologise for a number of worlds being down since late last night. This is due to Navisite, one of our ISPs in Nevada. We are deeply disappointed in the service we have received from Navisite during the course of our relationship, and will not only be seeking damages for this service outage, but will naturally be moving all of our services from Navisite to a better ISP.

We are working really hard to bring these worlds back online using our other data centres around the world. Once again, our sincerest apologies for this disruption.

The worlds that are down are:
1, 2, 7-9, 21-22, 26-32, 42, 47-48, 56, 70, 100

New Announcement on the subject
We've temporarily taken down some of our game worlds due to ongoing issues with our ISP Navisite. We deeply regret the service outage, and as I mentioned before we are now in the process of moving to a better ISP.

As mentioned earlier, we have been in touch with the affected ISP, Navisite, to request that they resolve the problem with their routers, but so far they have not managed to do this. As the worlds in question can't be used reliably until Navisite have sorted themselves out, we've taken them offline.

The following worlds are currently affected: 4-9, 13, 14, 17-22, 26-32, 37, 42, 47, 48, 56, 61, 62, 64-66, 70, 72, 100 and 113-116.

For the moment, we can only ask that you use a different world for the time being, and again I want to express my deepest regrets for the inconvenience. It naturally goes without saying that we will not be continuing to use Navisite in future.

Version 3
Dear players,

We'd like to sincerely apologise for the fact that some of our worlds are offline. We have been forced to take them offline due to a problem at one of our ISPs, Navisite.

The worlds affected:
4, 5, 7-9, 13-14, 17, 19, 21-22, 26-30, 37, 42, 47-48, 56, 62, 64, 70, 72, 100, 113.

We are informed that the problem is caused by the ISP's routers being overloaded. It is not a problem with our own systems, or with us having inadequate bandwidth.

Unfortunately, because the problem is caused by limitations of a 3rd party's systems, as opposed to our own, it's out of our control.

We are however working really hard to bring these worlds back online by making use of our other data centres around the world. We are also looking for a more permanent solution, which will probably involve switching to a different ISP. Once again, our sincerest apologies for this disruption.

Yup, pretty much how the business cycle goes. One provider fails, so move on to the next.

Yup, to actually name the company you have a problem with is rarely done. They must have done something, though my guess is they DIDN'T do something. See, like I said a long time ago: ISP is a complete mis-nomer. Apparently it's an acronym for Internet Service Provider. It should be IP: Internet Provider, service from an ISP rarely exists.

Jagex must be reeeeeeeeaaaalllllyyyyyy ticked if they actually named the ISP...
I'm guessing they don't like them?
Oh well, good to know we'll have a more stable isp now!

Worlds 1-2 were down?

Impossible.

With the word "Navi" in the ISP server name, it can't be good.

Couldn't they get in trouble for defamation though if the ISP says its a problem they couldn't control?

For something like this to happen, serious neglect has to take place. Plus, stating the facts in these circumstances is not the same as defamation of character or slander.
