Since the summer of 2008, mostly, Jagex has been making huge changes to the graphics, the main screen, and more to Runescape. I was wondering weather people actually like these changes or not.

I myself have only started up again recently, but used to play it back in my younger years in school, i still prefer the old school low def graphics because that's the way i remembered it when i enjoyed it back then (not the classic graphics though....those were shizzle.)

It's a welcome change in my book. It's looks alot smoother and the fact that I don't have to pull up notepad to make notes anymore is a great thing (for me anyways).

I like the High definition graphics they updated with, I never liked the old graphics much, but some of the recent(or not so recent) updates like pure essence sucked bad.

I don't really care, but I do sorta like the new graphics. On the other hand, I'm kind of used to the old graphics.

I don't like the new graphics AS MUCH! as the old ones. That isn't to say I hate the new graphics. I only hate them on my desktop, where I can't play them

But on my laptop, it is fullscreen all the way

Shouldn't this be in Rs discussion or whatever, I feel the need for this to turn into an offtopic spam topic

No, i completely hate the new updates, jagex is making this game worse and worse every update they make.
The HD update is OKAY, most players can't go on HD because there computers can't handle it like mine, and the pvp is lame a long with the new mini games so ....ya

I haven't really minded the way that JaGeX as changed it's game. They have barely changed the areas that I use so they all are either a pleasant surprise or I don't really care.

I like the new changes. With each update Runescape develops into a game that is more interesting, satisfying and fun to play. The HD updates were definitely the best updates of the last year - the graphics prior to that were pretty awful and paled in the faces of things like WOW.

I like the HD updates, though I wish Jagex would stop making things like the log in screen prettier, and actually improve the game.

other than the wildy change(idk if it was in that timezone), most of the changes have been good.

Don't like them.
Bring back the days of mining a rock and you just stood there with a pickaxe-sort-of-speech-bubble above your head.
Also IDK about everyone else, but I used to love in classic how the map was square. I'm not really feeling this circular map TBH.

Most of the time, Jagex updates fall into one of the two categories:
1. A very well thought out and executed update that blends well into the game and pleases many players (Stealing Creation)
2. A terrible blunder of an update that pisses of players and makes everyone mad at Jagex (no prayer in PVP)
Most of this year's updates have fallen into the latter category.

Hd graphics with the option of low detail was the best decision they've made. Aside from that almost every update in some way or another has cost more players than it has gained them. I'm not talking about players losing money I'm talking about players quiting because it is ruining everything runescape was. I even quit for a time right after the grand exchange came out because I noticed all of the prices became so completely unstable it was unbelievable. And now even though the prices should have "stabilized" there are merch clans who are sooo much more powerful than anything you could think of that they are ruining things as well. There's times when things that should sell instantly on mid-high range wont even sell for days on min... I've lost a lot of good friends from updates like this and pretty much every week when something new comes out that "changes the way runescape is played more than the last" It's just getting out of hand. The only other good update I believe was the easing up on chat filters but even that wasn't good enough for us...

The only Update in the recent past that I was unhappy with was the Font change they made - and they reverted that anyway. I'm pleased with what they're doing and like where they're taking the game. I just hope they don't go back on their promises about priorities after MechScape is released.
