Can we bump it up to 3 changes in 180 days?

We can, yes, but that doesn't mean that we should. 90 days per name change is a reasonable rate anyway, so I don't think it needs meddling...again.

Oh yes, because one day I want my name to be Bob and the next Joe and then the next Frank so I can confuse everyone in the whole wide world!

Don't really think 3 or even 4 changes would cause too much confusion though.

Why shouldn't you be allowed to change your name evrey day? People would get bored of the joke anyway.

Why would you want to change your name everyday? There's no need to change it just pick one you like. Also, I'm not sure about this one, but if you pick a display name such as Bob and change it to Frank. Can someone then use Bob?

Exactly why would someone need to change their name that often?

So if you don't want to change it everyday why remove the limit?

I don't think a limit of 3 or 4 would be unreasonable would it?

The less time people have between name changes, the less they think about their name changes. You don't need more that 4 per year and don't think a name + details change will make people forget who you are.

The better solution is not to change your username to the same one you had, when I changed mine to error404, it still said alexzhou10 but it was because it hadn't reloaded yet, so I accidentely changed it twice.

Maybe 3 won't be unreasonable but as Dad stated there as no need to change it as 4 name changes is enough for a year.

I aimed to kept my display name Cake, so I'm not going to change it. I have one space of display name left, and I'm not going to use it again. So, no offense, but increasing more choices for display names is... well, confusing...

Besides, we're fine to have 2.

Rules are required in a dictatorship, therefore, I think this rule will remain the same.
