Hi there im just wondering how many people here have played during classic and might still have a classic account.

I know on my very first account dino8 i played him in classic. i dont know about my newer guy(riukoy) i forget if i did play him in classic or not. probaly not though..

I started back in the golden days, in 2002. So yes, I have played Classic. I miss it so.

To be honest, both of your accounts are not even in the highscores so I highly doubt you have played since the classic era.

I never legit played on classic but when I created my account it came with the ability to play on classic, im like level 4 with full iron >_<

but for some reason when dino8 got transfered over to the newer RS all his skills got lowered! >:/

yea im sure all his 99s got wiped right off the highscores during transfer.

he had some 40 for each melee skill. or thirtys(im pretty sure it was 40 attack at least cause i remember using rune 2h) if i had members on the account i would go on get a pic and show you but sadly i dont have extra cash atm.

I played RSC and I had a Rune 2handed sword. Everyone had to ask what kind of sword it was though, because it looked like a long sword.
And the Dragon in Dragon Slayer was of better graphics than the dragon now IMO

i played in classic ah the good ol times pking in the wild

still. i consider if i played before the new one came it counts as classic.

for the last flippin time! the time before runescape hd was not runescape classic!

I played on my main during classic. Twas the good times indeed.

I remember specifically the dragon longswords look a hundred times more epic than they do now.

I wasn't a member so didn't know too much about dragon stuff.
I seem to remember in F2P everyone wore full rune with rune 2h or they had battle axe and kite shield, because no weapon was slower.
And party hats, santa hats and halloween masks were so much more cheaper than now

I played at the time just after classic, disappointed I missed it.

I played it before, and remembered slaying lesser demons on Karamja Island.

PKing was fun back then too. 3-hit pkers are deadly.

Yeah but the game never stuck to me until I started playing again in 2006.

Okay, here's a timeline for everyone who's unsure.

2000 = RuneScape is in the open beta stage.
2001 = RuneScape is released to the public.
2003 = RuneScape 2 is in the open beta stage.
2004 = RuneScape 2 is released, the original RuneScape is renamed RuneScape Classic.
2004 = RuneScape 2 is renamed RuneScape.
2005 = RuneScape Classic becomes unplayable to free players.
2007 = RuneScape HD is released, however this is NOT RuneScape 3.

I haven't, but I wish I did to see how far Runescape has changed.

I remember RuneScape Classic... And I hated it. I quit and came back when RS2 came out. The fatigue back then sucked so BAD! And remember how there wasn't a chat head display - EVERYTHING came up above the character head!

I wish I hadn't stopped playing it though, because it might be fun to log onto one of those worlds now. Of course, with the RSC update a couple years back, I can't do it anymore

I can still play classic. Lvl 3 with lvl 1s ftw.
