The Alliance War - Recontinued
Chapter 1 - The Alliance and AoSSpoiler: Click to Toggle the Spoiler.
Imagine a world exactly like Earth, but populated with many other species. These include elves, dwarves, humans, orcs, trolls, and many others. The 4 elements exists in this world, and everyone possesses the power of one. Fire, Water, Earth and Air. These races live in peace, collaborating with each in order to keep the world a safe place for future generations. However, each race has formed their own faction or stayed neutral. By 2004, the 2 main factions were the Alliance and the Army of Socialism. The Alliance, the one with the bigger population and supplies, promised a free democratic society for all. The AoS declared itself a private army, and it would help its people as best as it could. Both sides committed atrocities by killing innocent civilians to try and gain more power. However, many neutralists campaigned to have this stopped, and peace was the end result. The Alliance took over the Americans and part of Europe, while the AoS claimed Asia, the rest of Europe and Africa. The only spot left untouched was the United Kingdom.
10 years later, the AoS was invaded by a surprise attack from the Alliance. With their armies completely unprepared, the AoS fell quickly and disbanded. It turned out the Alliance's president had been 'killed' and was replaced by a fierce orc. As soon as he sat down in the throne, the Orc issued orders to attack the AoS. Claiming victory, the Alliance crossed across Asia, soon capturing the entire continent. Within 4 more years, they had control of the entire planet except for the United Kingdom. Starting on July 21, 2018, the Alliance executed hundreds of thousands of civilians and soldiers believed to have AoS connections. The once heroic faction that liberated the world was now a dictatorship.
In the UK, a squad known as the Baker Team was being prepared, in a last desperate hope to bring back freedom.
Races: pick anyone you want and put it in your app.
Cities and countries: Everything is the same as it is today.

Factions:Alliance - The most powerful, the Alliance is politically a right-wing society. It's main goals are now to seek out the Army of Socialism and wipe it out forever. Races included in this faction extend to most. The Alliance's members span the entire planet, with over 50000 members. If you join the Alliance, you will start in a port, preparing to leave for Europe.
Army of Socialism - With only a few thousand members, most in hiding, the AoS has the status of 'refugees'. Many have deserted and joined the Alliance, but they are easily found by AoS guerillas. Races extend to most races, except for orcs. Recently, the AoS has grown much more powerful, ready to strike down the Alliance at will. If you join the AoS, you can start anywhere in the world.
Baker Team - A team that has just finished training, the Baker Team is now ready for action. Each member is required to have training in guerilla warfare. If you join the Baker Team, you will start in Northwood Headquarters in London, at your final briefing. NOTE: only 10 apps for the Baker Team allowed; first come, first serve. Positions are now closed.
NOTE: You can make 2 characters at most, but they have to be on different factions(i.e. Alliance, AoS etc.).
To the current rpers: we start off where we left off.

IC: Nodding, Leo and 2 other AoS soldiers managed to anchor one of the Humvees in place with the help of a grappling hook. Moving slowly in order to stop from falling into the abyss, they opened the back and moved the ready bags, weapons and provisions step by step; however, the cable was not very strong, and begun to . After about 80% of the stuff was out, the cable stopped breaking and held, although the Humvee was almost completely hanging over the pit.
Climbing up, Leo decided it would be way too dangerous to try and get the rest of the gear out. Picking up the bags and weapons, he helped split them between the rest of the cars. Taking an extra magazine for his MP5, he then reached for his radio.
"General, this is Leo. We've just encountered a large abyss, and we haven't figured out a way to get across. What's your situation?"
"Nothing bad. We're just-", he began when suddenly...
A suddenly explosion silenced Yakutsk's response. The next thing heard was shouts, screaming and gunshots. Oh..s^*t, he cursed. Tossing the radio, he signaled to some of the AoS soldiers.
"Take one of these and get back up there to see what's going on!" he shouted.
--------------------------------------------
In the upper levels, the Alliance had blown out part of the rocky barrier. This provided very good cover for them, and allowed RPG's and grenade launchers to be deployed. Unfortunately for them, the AoS bunkers proved very strong and they were currently holding them back. But that would not last for long...
---------------------------------------
Firing back with his M16, Yakutsk radioed the squad down in the tunnels. "Guys, we've got a problem. Almost half of the barrier is gone, and it's being decimated by the minute. What's your progress down there?"
Leo's voice crackled back. "Sir, we've come to a dead-end. For some reason, there's a random pit in the middle, and we're trying to find a way to cross it. A few of the soldiers are coming up."
"Alright, well hurry, we can't hold out forever here," answered Yakutsk.

"I'll go," Jacob volunteered, jumping into the driver's seat of a grounded Humvee. "Anyone willing to ride with me?"

3 other AoS soldiers climbed into the vehicle. The one in the passenger seat slammed his door shut. "Let's go."
The Humvee began moving back up the tunnel, where the sound of gunshots was getting louder. Soon pulling into the main ring, the vehicle stopped and the soldiers got out. Jamming clips into their rifles, they moved slowly back up the passageway. Stopping at the corner, the leader cocked his M16.
"What's the situation?" asked one of the others.
Looking around the corner, he answered grimly. "Not good. The barrier is pretty badly breached. I'm not sure how long they can hold out."
"Let's do something about it," said the 3rd man, running forward. Nodding, the other 2 followed; the leader paused and stared at Jacob. "Come on, man. We got a battle to win," he smiled.
OOC: Sorry for the minor control; I wanna get this moving again.

Name: Ackin
Age: 32
Gender: Male
Race: Deep Goblin
Faction: Neutral. He's only out to help himself.
Appearance: Like all deep goblins, Ackin has between the height of a dwarf and a human. He has long, black hair (No facial hair.), slicked back and tied into a pony tail. His skin is black. His ears are pointed. His irises are red. His teeth are sharp, because deep goblins are carnivorous. He is hunched over. His arms are twice as long as his legs, and both his hands and feet are clawed. And his feet have thumb-like toes on them. Deep goblins are great climbers, and they're agile.
Clothing/Armour: Black, short-sleeved shirt. Black pants. Black boots trimmed with metal. And a black hood and cloak.
Weapons: Several daggers and knives and a long, cruel-looking sword.
Element: Earth (Because deep goblins live underground, it only makes sense this would be his element.) and (If we can have two elements.) ice.
Special Skill: Can see all colors of the spectrum, has excellent hearing, and can sense vibrations better than most, though he'd rather not rely on it.
History: Ackin once lived in the deep goblin capital of Derrth, which was underground. However, he and his family moved to the deep goblin colony of Errth, which was located in the overworld, which is what the deep goblins called the world above the ground. However, the Alliance saw the deep goblins as evil, so they destroyed Errth and proceeded to go to war with Derrth, eventually destroying it, scattering the surviving deep goblins all over the world. The Alliance continues to hunt them to this day. Ackin was one of the survivors. After Derrth was destroyed, Ackin mostly lived like a hermit after that, and he eventually went insane caused by all the strife he'd gone through in his lifetime. Now, you could go so far as to call him an evil madman.
I wanted to make a new character. I got bored of my other two.

OOC: Accepted, Scorpion. Now we just need Erebus before we can continue the underground part.
IC: Firing back at the numerous Alliance troops firing RPG's, the lieutenant ran out of ammunition on his M16. Cursing, he realized the only weapon he had left was a grenade and a slingshot.
Forming an idea in his head, he loaded the grenade on the sling. If I mess this up, we're all dead,[i] he thought. Concentrating hard, he let loose the projectile and ducked.
Soaring through the hole, the grenade blew up, igniting several other explosives being pushed towards the barrier. Though it did some damage to the barrier, it also sent dozens of Alliance troops flying in the air.
---------------------------------
Receiving news of the sudden event, the Orc roared back into his radio. "What? I don't care, just send more troops in. We'll fly them in from Copenhagan if we have to! I'm not losing that base!"
Hanging up, the Orc turned to his driver. "Head to Germany. I'm gonna engage [i]Valhalla."
Startled, the aide took a glance. "Lazu, it hasn't been completely tested yet; we're still not sure if the jets are completely safe from explosions."
"I don't care, I want the guys in there dead! Any kind of resistance has to be eliminated!" roared back Lazu. Nodding, the aide turned the car onto an Alliance route.
"We'll take the plane."
30 minutes later, Lazu was staring out the window of a 747, wondering why the AoS had not surrendered yet. So they must die.

IC:
Jacob rose aboveground to the sound of a huge explosion. Dust and debris clouded his vision for a moment; it cleared and he saw the general kneeling in front of him with a slingshot in his trembling hands. Drawing his sniper rifle, Jacob peered through the scope to see a soldier armed with an RPG aiming at the mouth of the base. With a practiced squeeze of the trigger, a bullet whizzed out and blew apart the soldier's head.
"General, no disrespect meant, but why are you using a slingshot to attack the enemy? If you're out of ammo," Jacob said, reaching into his pouch, "there were a few boxes of high caliber M16 ammunition and I decided grabbing some couldn't hurt." Jacob deposited the ammunition next to the general and then began to search for another strong point as he faded into water.

Nodding in thanks, the officer grabbed a clip, jammed it in and began returning fire. One Alliance troop had somehow mounted an explosive with a large timer on top: it read 60:00 and began counting down.
"Somehow stop that from going off! I'll cover you!" yelled the General. A man named Corporal Freeman nodded, grabbed a pair of pliers and ran out. Diving just behind a boulder, he reached up and cut the explosive off the tape. Opening it slowly, he moved around wires...and defused it. Tossing it away, Freeman began running back to the bunker, but was shot in the head about halfway there.
Great, we lost another one, groaned Yakutsk. Another thing was that the barrier was beginning to collapse due to the amount of gunfire. Retreating would soon be a priority.
---------------------------------------
Grabbing a portable ladder out of the back of a Humvee, Leo and 3 others began sliding it to its full length. Leaning it over the pit, it managed to land on the other side just safely. Taking a breather, the dwarf glanced around.
"Who wants to go first?"
OOC: I think we need a new plot; anyone have ideas?

Aug 4 2009, 12:40 PM
OOC: A-ok. Time to jump a couple years; first, I'll make a little summary.
IC: Faced with little choice, the tunnel retreated back up to the main part of the base. Joining with the remaining AoS forces and General Yakutsk, they were reinforced by foreign air power of an anti-Alliance nation and drove the invaders out. Even with the victory, Yakutsk knew that it would not be safe for long, as the Alliance had power to redirect multiple armies here until the battle was won.
Thus, the Army of Socialism packed up and headed away, to who knew where. Gathering the Baker Team and members of the AoS like Jacob, Yakutsk spoke silently to the. "I thank you for your help. Because of your extensive, I cannot risk you guys as I risk any normal soldier. Each of you will choose a codename, until you are called to duty, once again..."
And with that, the Baker Team and a few of the AoS went their way, splitting up to multiple cities across the planet, waiting for the call from their leaders.
----------------------------------------------
OOC: I call Madrid!

I just need a good codename though...hmm.
2 years later...IC: Finishing up the last of his pumpkin soup, Lonewolf piled the dishes in his sink, exited the kitchen and sank into his sofa. Yawning, he checked the time on his phone, then prepared to sleep. Suddenly, it began ringing. Frozen, the dwarf reached slowly for the phone. Flipping it open, he read the one-line message to know it was time to return.
"Prep arm and ready for transport. Hold pattern until further notice.OOC: Choose your own codename, city of hiding, etc.

OoC: I'm not part of the Baker Team... And we never resolved Yakutsk's feelings about an unauthorized assasin in the AoS.
Leo Crimson
Aug 4 2009, 09:22 PM
OOC: We'll have the problem solved in the new plot. As for your first inquiry, I edited my post to include 'certain members of the AoS'. Sorry for any inconvenience.
IC: Racing down the streets of Madrid in his BMW, Lonewolf continually glanced at his weapons: an M16, his prized axe and a few pounds of Semtex. Enough if I run into anyone, but not enough if I get caught.
Almost immediately as that thought passed, 2 Alliance soldiers leapt in front of his car. Slamming the accerlerator, Lonewolf pushed forward, hitting one but missing the other. Rolling, the man cocked his AK-47 and began spraying the car with it.
Lowering himself onto the 2 seats, Lonewolf felt a searing pain in his leg. Grabbing the spot, he felt a single round buried deep inside his calf. Gritting his teeth, he reached for a silenced pistol and cocked it.
Finished his clip, the soldier moved slowly towards the car. Because of the dark-tinted windows, he was unable to see if his foe was dead, and resolved to find out for himself. Drawing his sword, he smashed the window. As the glass shattered, he fell back dead, a gunshot wound to the head.
Climbing slowly out of the car, Leo made sure the man was dead, then sent out an emergency signal from his car.
-----------------------------------
Inside the Madrid branch, an AoS elf noted the call for help. Lonewolf, the operative. Summoning 2 others, they raced towards the source of the signal, intent of finding out what had went wrong.
----------------------------------
Inside Paris, Lazu sipped a cup of tea while watching a new dawn rise. Refilling it with another drink, he pondered of how the battle had gone wrong in the Dome. It was a mistake that will never happen again.
A knock was heard on the door. Turning around, Lazu saw his head lieutenant. "Yes?" he said.
The aide was breathing hard, evidently from a fast run. "We got news that a rebel, most likely AoS, took down 2 of our men in Madrid. He was wounded, but we got a clear look at his face. It's the Baker Team leader, the dwarf," he finished.
Wondering what this could mean, Lazu grabbed his gun. "Send 30 men there to detain the dwarf. Bring him alive, but if he proves annoying, kill him," he ordered.

After wiping the sweat off his brow, Jacob took careful aim and prepared to fire. A phone rang suddenly, and the disturbance caused him to drop his weapon. After sighing and pressing Pause on the controller, he flipped the phone open. Yakustk's voice came through on the other end, saying that they needed an assasin to return to action.
As he affirmed he was on his way, Jacob walked out of his house, locking the door behind him. A blue and white Ford GT sat outside waiting for him, and as he entered the car, he briefly pondered how he came to this position.
After the Alliance, Yakustk had confronted him, interrogating him immediately. Jacob managed to answer all of the questions posed to him, and for a while, Yakustk simply stared at him. Then, he smiled. "You are now an official part of the AoS... However, I wish for you to remain a secret to the rest of the world, including your fellow AoS members. For now, you will retreat to a safehouse I have arranged for you in Haiti. The locals will keep your presence a secret... I apologize, Jacob, but the AoS is going to lay low for a while. We have no need for an assassin anymore..."
But here he found himself, driving into a secret AoS airfield, where he boarded a small passenger plane. As the plane took rise into the air, Jacob retrieved his sniper rifle and MP40 from the back of the plane, cleaning them methodically.

Victor was sitting on the steps of his front porch, enjoying the nice day, when his phone rang. He answered it, and the voice on the other side said, "You've been activated once again, Star Eagle."
Victor sighed, knowing what it meant. He stood up and waited. For what, he wasn't sure. That's when he heard an explosion behind his house. He quickly ran to see what had happened, and he found that a wrecked car was on the side of the road. Not too far away, another car, which was black, was parked in the middle of the road, and there were men around it with guns. The car had a picture on the front of a dragon. Written next to that was, "B.C."
The men themselves had black, blue-trimmed uniforms, also with pictures of dragons on the front, with, "B.C." written next to them. The men also wore black masks, and they began to fire at Victor, who jumped up and behind the wrecked car.
In the other car, a goblin in the back began getting to work with getting off the handcuffs he had on, and was able to get them off, after which he jumped out of the car, sword in hand, and began attacking the men with guns. Distracted, this gave Victor a chance to run back to his house and retrieve his sword, then run back. He jumped at the men and began attacking them himself.

Soon reaching the car where Lonewolf had injured himself in, the 2 AoS operatives began working to get him out. One pulled out a chainsaw to cut apart the chassis, while the other radioed for help. However, both of them were unaware of the 20 Alliance troops closing in.
A burst of gunfire occurred, and within 2 seconds, both men were dead from snipers. Moving in quickly, a corporal picked up the abandoned saw and continued the cutting away. Once enough was done, 3 Alliance elves moved in, grabbed the unconscious dwarf and carried him away to who knew what....
--------------------------------------
"Sir, our men are down," reported the man.
Cursing beneath his teeth, Yakutsk paced around, trying to think of what best to do. After a few minutes, he turned back to the operator. "Call everyone in. I want them all activated. Get our mole inside the Alliance to find where they're taking Leo, then sending them to rescue."
"Got it, sir."

IC: As the door slammed, Leo came to. Groaning in pain, he gazed around at the room, his vision occasionally blurring and making him feel dizzy. After shaking his head a few times, the dwarf heard the door open and close again. Squinting at the figure, he realized who it was.
The Orc.
Smiling, he leaned closer. "Remember me?" he asked.
Leo spat at him. "More than you think."
Chuckling, Lazu pulled out a 9mm and screwed a silencer on the gun. "Leo, I could just shoot you right now, and believe me, I ought to. However, I'm offering you a proposal: tell me all you know about the AoS, and I'll let you and your Baker Team go free.
The dwarf shook his head. "No Lazu, you and your Alliance will perish in the fires of justice. You may send me to the executioners, but in 3 months time, we will take over and drag you and your friends through the dirt in the streets."
Silent, the Orc nodded. "Then you have chosen imprisonment." Standing up, he opened the door. "You'll have 2 weeks to think this over again."

The plane touched down, delivering Blood Hawk to the AoS base in Rome. Stepping out of the plane, Blood Hawk was greeted by an impatient and worried Yakutsk. "What seems to be the problem, General?"
Leo Crimson
Aug 11 2009, 09:12 PM
Sighing, the General put his hands in his jacket pockets, gazing around at the airfield. After a few moments of rocking back and forth on his heels, he turned to Blood Hawk. "Jacob, we've had an incident. Leo was on his way from Madrid to the base here, when he was ambushed by 2 Alliance troops. We sent 2 operatives to help him, but somehow the Alliance found out and send half a battalion. We believe Leo is being held in that base the Orc used to attack the Dome. I'm sending you to rescue him, along with some other soldiers."
Saluting and walking away, Yakutsk paused, seeing a figure in the distance. "By the way, Jacob, the whole thing about you being an unregistered operative isn't solved yet. However, I'm willing to pardon that, due to the urgency of this mission. You'll have an old friend to lead you on this mission."
A smiling elf walked into the floodlights, an M16 in his hand. "Hello, Jacob. Nice to see you again," smiled Fergus.
-------------------------
As the doors slammed shut and the key was snapped, Leo found himself in near darkness. Turning on the light, he gazed around at the multiple AoS soldiers, whom were looking depressed and..in despair. I must not give up, nor divulge any information, no matter the consequences, vowed the dwarf.
Seeing the number of skulls inside the room, Leo knew the consequences would be very bad indeed.

OOC: Oh ok, I guess I'll make my way to the base where the others are.
IC: After two whole years of hiding, Hayden finally emerged from his old and dirty shack, located in the city of Rome. He loaded up his M-16, strapped up his other weapons, and put on his backpack. As a member of the AoS, he was ordered to stay in hiding until he was given the signal by Yaktutsk, and just a few minutes ago, he was given an order to return to the base ASAP. Hayden locked his door and hopped on his moped. It wasn't much, but it got him where he needed to go.
It took him an hour to get to the base because he lived on the other side of the city, but when he arrived, a group of soldiers were gathered out in the front. He began to approach the group, unable to understand what the gathering was about. Out of all of them, he immediately noticed Yakutsk.

No, it was actually pretty decent.

At least we'll have a better chance. "Good to see you, Santiago," he greeted, clapping Hayden on the shoulder.
"One of our allies, Leo Crimson of the Baker Team, UK, was captured by Alliance soldiers in Madrid. I'm sending Commander Fergus and some other soldiers to aid in the rescue. Are you in?"
---------------------------------
"Aaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!" screamed Leo as the electricity surged through his body. When it shut down, the dwarf went limp, gasping in pain. Chuckling in satisfaction, Lazu walked up to him. "Are you ready to talk?"
Snarling, Leo responded by hitting him in the chest with his foot. Pretending to groan in pain, the Alliance leader hit Leo back in the face hard. Walking away, he spoke one last order to his men. "Do it again."
The screams echoed throughout the entire base.

IC: "I'm ready when you are." Hayden replied.
He looked forward to taking apart some alliance soldiers, something he hadn't been able to do for a long time.

Once a large enough force had been gathered, Fergus, his team and other members of the Baker Team loaded in a transport and traveled to Madrid. Getting off at the outskirts of a city, they found out Leo was being held at a sports stadium, which the Alliance had converted into a massive prison of some sort. Dodging all outposts and picking up a few soldiers, the group finally reached the inner part of Madrid.
Gazing through the scope of his M24 at the stadium, Fergus lifted his head and squinted down at the Alliance patrols watching the streets. Twisting a silencer onto his weapon, he fired several shots below, killing them instantly. Ejecting the clip, he gestured for the others to move forward and clear the area.

At Fergus' command, Hayden followed the other soldiers into the area where the Alliance soldiers were sniped. Hayden loaded up his rifle and aimed into the distance for any other Alliance members waiting for them.

Walking quickly down the slope, Fergus disassembled his rifle and pulled out a silenced M16 from his equipment pack. This has to be precise. Jamming a fresh magazine in and cocking it, the elf nodded to his fellow soldiers. "Let's get going."
Moving up one of the darker paths, the small group approached the outskirts of the stadium; keeping out of the floodlights, Fergus could see Alliance soldiers heavily armed with machine guns and even tanks. Looking upwards, he noticed multiple snipers in the buildings, their outlines partially illuminated by large bulbs below. That's gonna take a while. Turning to the group, Fergus began giving instructions.
"Okay guys, we have a big problem here. That stadium is full of Alliance guys, so I would guess Lazu, the commander of the Alliance, is probably interrogating Leo about the AoS. Unfortunately, it's not going to be easy getting in there, as they'll probably check ID and stuff. Anybody have ideas?"
------------------------------
Chewing a piece of a banana, Leo gazed sadly out the window of his prison cell. Hearing heavy footsteps outside his room, the dwarf set aside his food and pretended to be asleep. As the door creaked open and Lazu peeked in, he noticed Leo was unaware. Smiling, he snapped his fingers.
2 guards walked in slowly, weapons at the ready. Pulling down the safety, one of them prepared to fire. Suddenly, Leo began a whir of motion, smashing one guard in the face and grabbing his weapon, while hitting the other hard in the parts with his knee. Cocking the pistols, the dwarf let hail rounds at Lazu, whom dodged back just in time. Great job, Crimson. You just alerted a huge camp.
Pushing that out of his mind, Leo dropped one gun and jammed a fresh clip into another one of them. Running out of the cell, he fired 2 more shots at a guard running down the hallway; groaning in pain, the elf fell clutching the wound, while Leo ran forward and scooped up his AK-47. Let's get going.

"How 'bout we just barge in and kill everyone. Then we grab Leo and get out." Hayden suggested as he spat at the ground.
This wasn't the best idea, but they were pretty much out of options.

Chuckling in amusement, Fergus shook his head. "I'm sorry, Hayden, but we would only have a small chance of suceeding in that with 2000 men. Which we don't have." Looking around, the elf told them about his.
"Over there," he pointed, to the east, "Is the supply warehouse for Alliance weapons, provisions...and uniforms. If we can somehow ambush the guard in there and grab some uniforms, we might be able to pull an escape off. So let's get going."
Standing up, the group made their way slowly across a rocky path to the warehouse. Pulling out a silenced Beretta, Fergus killed the guardsmen, then entered the warehouse. After a few minutes of changing, he came out dressed in a uniform with the rank Lieutenant. Examining himself, Fergus chuckled at the sight, then turned to everyone else.
"Get your clothes on." The words were barely out of his mouth when an alarm began blaring loudly. Confused, Fergus saw all personnel rushing towards the stadium. Man, talk about good timing. I wonder what the problem is? When he heard gunshots a few seconds later, Fergus smiled as he realized the situation. Go, Leo, go.
------------------------------
Blasting rounds out of his rifle, Leo cursed as the ammunition ran out. Discarding the gun, he picked up an M4 and ran towards one of the stairwells; this one was marked 'Basement'. Sounds good. Wrenching the door open, Leo leapt down the stairs and into the labyrinth of darkness...

Jacob felt odd in the Alliance uniform, but he quickly got over his awkardness with the blare of an alarm, and then the distinct rat-a-tat-tat of an AK-47. "It seems to me" Jacob observed, turning to his commander, "that Leo is working on an escape of his own." he readied Kun's MP40 as well as withdrawing a few vials from his pouch. "I suggest we make it a little easier for him... The other snipers here and I could mount an attack on the personnel inside that stadium there, while the rest of the soldiers work to smuggle Leo out. We could provide a big enough distraction that would draw a lot of Alliance members away from Leo, and I could produce enough mist to allow cover for a retreat on our part."

Running a hand through his long hair, Fergus was mostly satisfied with this strategy, but had a few doubts about it. Noting that everyone else had exchanged their AoS clothing for Alliance uniforms, the elf knew it could be a problem for the snipers, made even worse by the darkness. "I think it'll work out quite well, Jacob, but with all this darkness and shouts, you might accidentally hit one of us. Plus, the Alliance has become rather strict about protocol since their defeat at the Dome, so if we send signals or make ourselves stand out, we'll become suspicious.
Once we all get inside the stadium and you guys set up in the high seats, we'll try and evacuate Leo. Once the fire starts, those of us wearing the uniforms will toss off our hats, and get out of the firing range. From then on, it's open hunting," he finished. Glancing around, Fergus gestured at the stadium. "Who's ready to go down?"
----------------------------------
Splashing through a puddle left by a leaking pipe, Corporal Henry Dunham of the 7th Rangers tried to stop his gun from trembling as he searched for the loose dwarf. Peeking around a corner, he heard soft footsteps and a gun cocking. "Drop the weapon," said the voice.
Letting go of his M16, Dunham began sobbing as the dwarf known as Crimson grabbed his gun and cocked it. "What's your name?" snarled Leo.
"Corporal D, Dunham, sir," replied the man through sobs. Falling to his knees, he began begging for help. "Please don't kill me, I only joined to put food on the table for my family."
Looking deep into his eyes, Leo nodded in agreement. "Get up, Corporal." Walking deeper into the dark, he reloaded the M16 and cocked it. "Will you surrender your oath to Lazu and join the AoS?"
Dunham nodded, his hand over his heart. "Yes, sir."
"Good. As of now, I am recruiting you to the Baker Team; I am now your commander." With those words, the veteran and the new recruit prepared to hide from the rest of the searchers.

Jacob looked around, noticing the majority of the snipers raising their hands without much hesitation. The snipers who didn't noticed this too, and quickly put their hands up. Jacob smiled in satisfaction. "We're ready to go on your mark, Commander."

Nodding, Fergus gestured silently towards the stadium. "Let's go."
Reaching the outer gates, the commander merely vaulted them and sprinted towards the Alliance guards. Whipping out a handgun, Fergus fired 2 silenced shots into his head, while 3 others caught the body and dragged it away. Readying his M16, the elf moved slowly towards the entrance, watching out for any Alliance soldiers patrolling the track.
Peeking around the corner, Fergus guessed the base was on full alert. All soldiers were moving around and taking up positions at each exit in order to keep the prisoner from escaping. Very smart. However, he noted that the closest Alliance guard to the stairs leading up was about 30 feet away, and hardly paying attention to his job. Just our luck. Turning to the snipers, Fergus nodded.
"Get up the stairs and set up. I'm gonna find Leo."
--------------------------------
Opening up the sewer grate inside the kitchen, Corporal Dunham climbed out, then reached down to help Leo up. Closing the gap, they heard footsteps, glanced at each other, and readied their weapons.
As an Alliance sergeant walked in, Dunham immediately fired 2 shots into the elf's face, turning it into unrecognizable pulp. Shocked by what he had done, the former Alliance man turned slowly to the dwarf; nodding, Leo pointed to the door. "Get used to it."
Walking slowly out, Leo took the time to make sure all his weapons were ready. This better work for us.

Jacob nodded, walking to the guard in front of him with an air of authority. He thanked a higher power for his luck in grabbing a Corporal's uniform as he walked past the guard, barely paying attention to the slacking off soldier. As soon as Jacob passed him, however, the MP40 smashed into the back of the man's head, knocking him out almost immediately. A single bullet to the head with his silenced handgun ensured he'd never wake up, and Jacob tucked the soldier out of sight. He gestured towards the doorway. "You," Jacob said, pointing to a sniper's face that he recognized. "Watch this doorway, no one passes." He stooped down, checking the dogtags of the soldier he just killed. "Your name is Carl Tungston, and these are our dogtags," he said, tossing them to his fellow soldier. "As for the rest of you, set up and do not fire until my mark." The rest of the AoS snipers ran up the stairs, keeping their handguns at the ready. Hang in there, Leo.

As a small squad of Alliance soldiers headed to the basement, their lieutenant noticed a human pushing what appeared to be a body bag towards the exit. Walking over, the dwarf approached the soldier. "What happened?"
"Crimson killed one of our men, sir; I'm bringing his body to the morgue to see if we can get fingerprints on the bullets inside," explained Dunham. Nodding in satisfaction, the lieutenant bowed his head slightly. "I'm sorry to hear that," then moved on.
Once he reached one of the change rooms, Dunham unzipped the bag; inside was Leo armed with a USP 40. "Gone?"
Henry nodded. "Yes, sir. We're near one of the main entrances, so we could easily sneak out."
Nodding, Leo began to reply when he heard the door creak. Leaping behind a wall, he kept his weapon at the ready, listening for the footsteps. Finally, the figure came into view...
The elf was wary, thinking he had heard voices earlier. Glancing to his right, he was surprised to see an Alliance corporal there. Getting his act together, Fergus spoke with authority. "What are you doing here, Corporal?"
Recognizing the voice, Leo began laughing out loud; coming into the light, he clapped his old friend on the shoulder, who looked, at first, surprised, then began laughing along. "You never give up, do you?" said Leo.
Fergus shook his head. "Not at all. But we have to get out of here; I have multiple snipers in the seats; when the shooting starts again, they'll pick off the pursuers while we get out. Hopefully, one of the battalions in this area will be able to provide transport."
Nodding, Leo and the other 2 exited the room slowly. Moving along the outside without attracting any attention, an Alliance private noticed that Leo didn't have a uniform on; putting two and two together, he sounded the alarm. "He's over here!" A second later, he was dead and Fergus' gun was smoking.
Soon, Alliance troops were rushing towards the group, firing at the trio. Fortunately for them, the AoS agents tossed away their hats and fired at the real Alliance personnel. Running, Leo returned fire with shots from his pistol. "Call for backup!" he yelled.
"This is Fergus, come in please."
A crackle responded immediately. "Fergus? Why in the name of God are you inside the Madrid Alliance base?" replied a shocked voice.
"Colonel, I have no time to explain. I need as many troops and vehicles you can supply for an escape. Oh, and air support would be nice too, sir," requested the elf.
"No problem. I'll have them over in 5 minutes." We might not last that long, thought Fergus. Hurling a grenade, he gave a thumbs-up to Jacob in the upper levels.

As soon as Jacob saw the thumbs-up, a rain of bullets decended upon the Alliance personnel. As his fellow snipers whittled away the Alliance's numbers, Jacob snatched a sniper inside, handing him his pouch of vials. "Pour five of these vials onto the floor of the roof. One per corner, and one in the middle. Then, go fetch Markus from downstairs, pouring the rest of the vials at the base of the stairs. Got it?" The sniper nodded, popping open a vial. Jacob turned back to his scope, blasting away an Alliance soldier with his gun pointed at the traitor.
IC:
The faux Carl Tungston was beginning to panic. The Alliance member he was talking to had begun to get suspicious when the shots from above began echoing down the stairwell. "Give me one good reason in five seconds, or I'll blow your brains out." the Alliance member was saying, and Markus was struggling to slow down the flow of thoughts in his mind.
"Four." His heart began beating faster; he wondered briefly if he should risk reaching for his handgun, but decided against it when he noticed that's what the man with the cold, blue eyes and the gun pointed at his head was focused on.
"Three." His heart beat still faster, and he struggled to remove his tongue from down his throat. Millions of excuses shot through his mind, but he knew the man wouldn't buy any of them. This was a Lieutenant, he noticed from the design on his uniform, and it seemed like he was a smart one.
"Two." Again, thoughts of reaching for the handgun sprang into his head, but the eyes never faltered or blinked at all. He could sense the man's impatience, and he debated which action to take when the word one came around.
"One." There it was, practically a declaration of his death. So many routes to take, but all of them would get him killed. Closing his eyes, resigned, Markus even felt himself smile. He hoped he was a good boy, because it was time to meet his maker.
Tssk. The sound of a silenced hangun going off rang in his ears like a bomb going off, but somehow he felt no pain after its occurance. He carefully opened his eyes, to see the cold, blue eyes acting act as a place for the blood that was coming out of the man's forehead to settle between his eyes. Relieved, Markus turned around and hugged the man in the Alliance uniform, who flinched sharply. Markus coughed after he realized the other man's uncomfort, throwing his eyes to the floor. "Thanks." he muttered, running upstairs to join the battle.
Shaking his head, the AoS sniper dumped the contents of the pouch onto the floor before heading back up the stairs himself.
