A few new guides have been added to the site today. Firstly, our new Mobilising Armies mini-game guide is now online and available for use! It contains all sorts of must-know info about the game, including how to play, handy tips, and potential rewards from the game. A huge thanks goes to Eman1051 for writing this superb guide! We also have a new guide on PvP Drop Potential, which includes lots of detailed info on earning Drop Potential using each skill in RuneScape. A big thanks goes to Poke for writing this great guide! We also have a new skill guide on Combat, which covers all areas of melee, ranged and magic combat in great detail. Another big thanks goes to Sr H Potter1 for writing this excellent guide for us! biggrin.gif

Sweet guides, nice job guys! Mobilising armies one blows me away ohmy.gif
Wow, first post tongue.gif
Mith
Nice guides Eman, Poke, and Potter ice.gif
I scanned through all three of them, looking all very very well detailed. But I noticed on the Combat guide that the magic icons are out-dated. And on the Mobilising Armies guide, you can't click the map. At least I can't.
Anyways nice job you three and anyone who helped smile.gif
Doddsy
Nice new set of guides. I quite enjoyed the Mobilising Armies one.

Good job guys
Trey
Thanks for the guides, guys.

Edit:
QUOTE (guide)
You need to be risking 76,000 coins at any one time when you are killing the player, and the person you are killing needs to be risking 26,000 coins (the amount of money the person you are killing needs is 26,000 coins on both F2P and P2P)

Didn't they make it 76k for members?

Double edit:

QUOTE
The above player has killed his friend using the 76k trick. His friend didn't have any items in his inventory except 26,000 coins. If he had not had any drop potential, he would've gained a very poor drop. Instead, he gained a Corrupt Dragon Scimitar, worth 2.2m.

I laugh at this part of the guide because it was my screenshot, and I had 0 EP.
King Reaper

That Combat guide has been sitting in Accepted for ages, I was wondering when it would finally get onto the site tongue.gif
Good job on the Guides, they all seem informative and well-explained.

Sal, please fix ancient magicks spellbook in the combat guide, it is currently showing an image of the modern spellbook.

Other than that, keep it up, great guides smile.gif.
havocdemonzkrew
Hoooray more things to read!

Spelendid! Good job guys.

The drop potential one will be a huge help to me. My inactivity combined with little PKing experience means I'm completely lost these days with the new system. box.gif

Thanks for accepting.
It was the worst time to write the guide, it went through two updates concerning DP/EP.

But it got through in the end! ice.gif

Love the guides.

I'm happy to see the Mobilizing Armies up there now. Made it feel much more worthwhile getting that high of a rank to get those screenshots of all the rewards.

You still forget to mention that players can be attacked after a while while if they've been fighting the same person without killing them. tongue.gif (Or at least I can't find it in the guide...I didn't read it that thoroughly...)

Great guide anyway, very well written. The other guides are great too, especially the Mobilizing Armies guide. Some good tips in there that I'll be using.
Kemosabe
Wewt. Time to read them. biggrin.gif

QUOTE (DP Guide)
If you are using Saradomin Brews and Bronze Weapons, make sure you and your partner re-attack each other ever once in a while. Jagex have released an update so people that aren't taking damage in PvP worlds can be attacked by other people.
kingrays2
nice guide but i did find a big mistake in the combat guide

Stealing Creation:

Freeplay Worlds: Any

Stealing creation is not freeplay

You lose EP if you teleport.

Just saying.

The PvP Drop potential guide was, to be perfectly honest, terrible.

I have a Mobilising Armies tactic that you could add to the guide if you still can do so.

This is a Siege tactic and it should work, I don't have results from other people but I've won 9 times in a row since using it so it should work.
Get 3 heavy units of each race as well as a light unit of any race to use for exploring. Don't waste time with a catapult or even attacking the castle, instead attack and wipe out opponents in order starting from weakest (most light units) to strongest (most heavy units). For special units, use mostly chinchompa bombs and distractors. You shouldn't take heavy casualties.

Add this strategy if you want, I can't say for sure if it works, maybe I just got lucky.
