Does f2p ask for too much? Do you feel that "you pay and they don't"? Do you think f2p doesn't get enough updates?

I put yes to the first, and no to the rest. Why should ex-members have an advantage over freeplayers if they're not paying anymore? As for the bank space part, when credit runs out, many ex-mems suffer from too much items, if anything, they should get some sort of place to hold all member items while they're not on membership. I believe freeplay has enough, the only slight thing would be the capes which I think anyone who gets 99 deserves. If they ever make the capes freeplay though, expect the prices of maples and raw lobs/swordies to go up.

Oh yeah, other than that lame thread on Tip It forums, can you point out places where freeplayers ask for too much stuff? Other than the skill capes and the improvements to several aspects of the combat triangle, I really don't see freeplayers asking for too much. (Btw, I don't look at RSOF posts)

I myself am a Pure F2Per. I have no intention on becoming P2P (on my main atleast). And I have actually said no to all of your questions besides the skill capes.

Many of those things are what separates members from F2P.

I feel that f2p should get skillcapes because its harder on f2p to get a 99 then it is in p2p. So why not give them a skillcape ?

Have all the bank space? no; but around 15 extra for some member stuff would be nice (adze, fighter torso, monkey talisman...)

the bank space is a good idea, but it should only stay for a week, after this point the normal system is used.

this prevents f2pers to get 1 month of membership just for the bank space, while it still allows members who just ran out of membership can bank their items untill they get new membership.

I don't mind the skill cape's but the rest is a no.

actually it would be good for skillcapes and fletching because arrows are kinda expensive for me i am a pure f2p and i dont mind that but there are lots of quests places and thousands of items more in p2p and monsters have better drops i know im kinda out of the polls goal in this post but wouldnt it be nice if jagex gave us some good uptades and items ? maybe then when more people see p2p is good, they would be one

Since when did we ask for fletching? I don't see why so many people associate that skill with f2p begging. For the house party, why should they? They couldn't use more then 10% of the stuff there. And I don't care about member bank space.

I don't think freeplayers should get any of those things except for the skill capes, and even then it's a stretch.

Voted yes to skill-capes and, after a bit of debating, treasure trail items. No to the rest. I suppose it's just because I really like the the look of some of the treasure trail items, and having no intention of getting membership any time soon. Players who used to be members but are no loner should not get any bonus over people who have always been free players.

I'm still not sure why non-members can have trimmed armour through purchase. I'd appreciate any enlightenment as to this.

I voted Yes to skillcapes, yes to old members having tt items, and yes to bankspace, although, I would only want them to get it for a few days, a week tops. Well.. to be honest, those items should stay as they are, so you can sell as much as you can before going to free-to-play, which is useful if you suddenly can't afford members and it is the end of your monthly payment.

Should F2P get skillcapes? Yup. Getting a 99 in a skill is a great achievement and should be rewarded. If you get 99 in a skill on F2P you'll get the classic "Congratulations, you've wasted seven more hours of your life!" and then... nothing.

Should F2P get Fletching. Uh, no. Fletching is a member skill, case closed.

Should F2P be able attend house parties. Nuuu, as most members don't want F2Ps in their parties.

Should they be able to buy decorati-- No, as they didn't earn it.

Should they keep the extended bank space after losing their membership. Hell no, but I DO think that members items shouldn't contribute to bank space if you're F2P.

I think they should definitely have skillcapes, as it seems very unfair that they aren't rewarded, especially as getting a 99 on f2p is often much harder than on members.

People are going to disagree with me here, but I also think they should be allowed to visit the houses of members, but only visit them, not actually make a house of their own. I have a mixture of f2p/members friends and when I hold house parties, I always feel bad that my f2p friends can't join in. Yes, they're not paying for membership so why should they get it, blah. But if a member goes on a f2p world, they can SHOW f2p their members items by wearing them. They can't use them, but they can show them. So why shouldn't they be allowed to show their houses also?

However, I can see potential problems with that. For a start, most house portals are in members areas. For example, mine's in Yanille; so in f2p they would have to make all houses accessible through the Rimmington portal or something.

As for the others, I'd say no.

I think all skills should be Free to Play but with added member benefits.

Imagine once upon a time, freeplayers could only burn normal logs. The actual firemaking skill was members only. Now....

If f2pers get skillcapes then with enough moaning and complaining they could probably manage to get every members benifit on a freeworld theoretically. Jagex is full of pushovers to be honest, they need to stick with what they do and not listen to people that aren't even making them that much money. With the "1 million subscribing members" they have at minimum $5mil coming in every month... I think they should only be rewarding the people who are making them as rich as they are...

The skill cape idea is good, but so much of fletching has to do with crafting member items, so it would be kind of hard.

Jagex have stated that skillcapes will be F2P.

Should f2p have skillcapes? Im kinda in between "Yes" and "if they are an ex member" It will encourage memberships.
Should f2p have fletching? F2p melee have smithing, f2p mages have runescrafting (partially), so why not let f2p have normal logs and oaks fletchable, as a demo, like rc?
Shold f2p be able to attend a member's house party? No. it will complicate things. How will a f2p access taverly portal?
Should f2p be allowed to buy(but not obtain elsewhere) more decorative treasure trails items? Yes!

For all who say that members pay for skill capes I'd like to see them try to get it in freeplay. A 99 skill will take at least 4x the time. Freeplay defenatly deserve Skill Capes. No doubt about that.

I don't see why the F2P peeps can't have some treasure trail items and skillcapes, they are not extremely vital to members.

No to every one except the last one. F2p should NEVER get skillcapes. It's a very exclusive member thing imo. I always think of my skill cape to be something special to show off in f2p. I'm not saying that if you get a 99 in f2p you haven't earned it. It is actually alot harder. It's just something extra that we pay for. The poeple who said yes probably don't have a skillcape, or are f2p. As for fletching, it should never be f2p. Prices for logs and bows will jolt. For the rest, its a pretty straight forward no. I do think retired members should get the extra bank space though. So they don't have to get rid of all their member's objects. Hope I helped

I said yes for all of them. I mean please, members stop being so defensive of fletching and fletching skillcapes, they are simple skills, we have no use for them, long outdated, why not give to f2p. House parties I agree with very much, need more people to party with.

"You pay, they don't" Doesn't mean anything. Paying only gives you a 88.3% chance of getting an update.

Personally, I wold like it if ex-mems had the ability to keep their items with the original stats..... but thats just me.

I think F2Pers should get skill capes, and ex-members should get something to clear up some space in their bank when they go back to F2P
So many members see it as a P2P vs F2P situtation, when it just really isn't. We're all part of the same game aren't we? We all play Runescape and we're the same community. What's wrong with a little development to a previously ignored part of the community?
