Ok so I want THIS Image for a signature. I am using photoshop 2 and was wondering is there any way to make all that extra black go away fast so I can us it? I am also wondering for future.

That's a render, there is no black. What you do is make an account, click on the render, and save the image.

I think even with an accout it's a black background. Anyways to get rid of any unwanted background, look for a tool named the magic wand tool. It looks like a wand.. Lol anyways click that and then click on the parts that you want to delete. It works best when you have a render with a background, iota not really useful if you have a very ornate background and you are trying to single out the character... For that you would need to use the pentool or something close to that, and know what you are doing.

It isn't black.

Make an account and click on the image. A seperate larger image with a transparent background should pop up in a seperate broswer window.

Right click, select 'Save Image' and save it to your desktop. Drag the image from your desktop into your copy of Photoshop. It will open it up on a new canvas, then you just have to copy/paste and resize it into your signature.

Save yourself some trouble.

It depends on what style matches the theme that you are doing. I personally like smudge, but if you go to the link below, you will find great recources, etc. to help you.
