Earlier this week there was a fix for an issue with PvP combat on the border between single and multiway combat areas. As a side effect of this fix, it turned out that some of the singleway combat checks for mages and rangers were affected, which meant that players could once again interrupt combat as long as one of the two participants wasn’t fighting back. I just wanted to let you know that this has now been fixed, so the behaviour should be back to what it was last week, along with a new fix for the issue with combat along the border of single and multiway areas.
The way it should work, as of July 28th, is as follows:
If you are attacking another player in a singleway combat area, no other players can attack you.
After you get a kill, you will be considered in combat for a few more seconds. You can, however, teleport during this time without losing EP. As soon as you engage in combat with another player, the EP penalty will once again apply if you teleport from the fight.
If you attack another player from singleway combat when they are in multiway, the singleway restrictions will still apply to you. Meaning you can no longer attack them if they get attacked by someone else, unless you also move into the multiway area.
