I have the tools to do it but I can't seem to get it right, I might use the wrong one? But as far as I know I just can't get it right!
I've tried some of the simplest but I seem to keep getting in the lines or starting over, can some one who is good at doing transparency tell me how they do it?
I use GIMP, I hear it's a lot like PS.

1) Get an image to make transparent. 2) Open the image in gimp. 3) Go to 'Layers' -> 'Transparency' -> 'Add Alpha Channel'. 4) Click on the Magic Wand tool, and click on the background to make transparent. 5) Hit delete. 6) Save as a .png or something.
