For PotW.
Spent about 3 hours on it, hope you like. cute.png

First time trying shading with dithering. I started off right and worked left, that's why the dithering is really sucky on the left and slightly better on the right. biggrin.gif

Did the outline first, then the buildings, then the 'ocean', shaded the 'ocean', coloured the buildings then made the 'continents'

Spot the UK. tongue.gif
It's like the only country recognisable. ohmy.gif

Do you mean the lumps on his back or the lumps between his legs?
If you mean the ones on his back, nothing's completely flat.
If you mean the one between his legs, yeah.

I love the concept and the design for this. It's awesome. wub.gif

Just one thing; when dithering you're creating a third shade between two shades and when shading you're going to want to keep the shades an even size. Here's what I mean:

The top gradient is much smoother because the shades are evenly placed opposed to the bottom.
(For example: Look at his ear and compare it to the tail. The ear transitions much better because the shades are even.)

Of course, there are exceptions to this, like when you're trying to make something bumpy or blurring a line, but this is something to keep in mind when you shade/dither. happy.gif
