I was never a fan of Runescape HD, so I stuck with Standard View. My computer can handle the graphics, but it just doesn't seem like good old Runescape with HD. Does anyone else keep their view on standard?

My Vista is acting up and crashing my Video Card and OS, so I might just have to stick with Standard.

My graphics card doesn't have an update for Windows 7 RC. So I'm stuck on Standard View.

I used to not play in HD because of the lag, and wasn't really accustomed to it (having played in standard detail for years). I then got a new computer and could play lagglessly, so thought: Why not play in HD? I got so used to it that now I can't go back save for PKing.

There should be an option for High Def Standard View, and should be put in RS General Discussion.

Rule noobery aside, I use the HD standard view - it's the best of both worlds, imo.

Agg, I used to be an avid follower of Standard but.. they aren't going to change it. I enjoy HD nowadays

I play in standard as I frequently switch to different tabs and hd makes the screen turn white.

i like the graphics on HD but full screen isnt my thing, im more used to the oldschool version
but i switch over to regular when in caves and such, its to dark in HD

I can play HD, but my computer always crashes after about an hour. So I always play on standard.

HD lags my computer, figures I can run some top end games on it, but RS lags like a truck that's stuck in a muddy pit.

If I'm playing on my Dell Mini 9 Netbook (when I am away from home or want to relax on the couch) I use Standard. When I am playing on my desktop I use HD.

When I was a member I would play HD, but if I log in to f2p I lag a bit because of the ads. I found that advertisements cause more lag than HD does.

Only had the opportunity to play in HD for awhile once, loved it. To bad my computer hates me and won't let me use HD.

I use HD almost all the time because I prefer the graphics and like the larger size. I only ever use standard view when on low-spec computers that can't cope with HD, like other people have said.

Nothing triggers memories of RuneScape anymore.

I play in Standard Detail as it reminds me of the good ol' times
I may occasionally play in HD though, especially with milestone level-ups.

Before my laptop broke I'd always use SD because I couldn't use HD.
But now I use HD on my family computer because the monitor is so big being on SD just.. doesn't feel right D; I would definitely use SD if my monitor was smaller though

You should go to Options and set the Lighting Detail to Low.

I usually use HD in semi-fullscreen or whatever it is and I seem to only get lag in the Grand Exchange, which really bugs me.

I may be just an old grandpa but Standard View is the way to go.

I've kept mine on standard Don't think runescape would be the same for me lol.

There is typically more lag in high detail than standard for me, but I can play either way. I always use the fixed window size to play though.

I felt a giant burst of nostalgia, and now I really wished there was an option for "I prefered pre-HD updates" Now HD has stopped working on my computer, my vote is changed to Standard, although I can't really change it, that means more people like standard than HD.

HD looks impressive but overall i dont like it i almost always play on sd.

I play HD because my computer can handle it and I like my immersion. I play through SwiftKit and I use the re-sizable window thing. I play in full screen, but only sometimes as switching is awkward.

For all those who have videocards that act up: download the latest drivers. If you have W7, the Vista drivers should work as the base code is the same.

I have a relitively fast and new computor (last Christmas) and it doesn't lag at all (unless it is the internet, which then everything lags), so I always play in HD unless I am using a different computor.

Well with the latest update now I use standard view with HD Graphics. I don't use anything bigger than the standard view.
