Try that out. The TI 83+ is just like the TI 84+. Programming for the TI 83 is different than the 83+ or 84+. Ticalc.org is a really good resource.

I saw that, but It just gives me the assembly info for the 83. I need the includes and stuff specific to the 84 as well as some sample code or whatever tutorials normally offer.

Bottom of the page last three links.

There's nothing new in the 84+ over the 83+, just increased specs.

Did you get a guide when you bought it? I know when i bought my TI-84 Plus i got a guide stating how to start it up.

Also i got a CD which pretty much does all the work for you. If you didn't get them i would go back to the store to recieve them. (Although as i'm thinking of it i think they were in the box.)

All i did was put the CD in, install the documents, and hook my calculator up to the computer so it could program some extra features smile.gif

As in features? I have three 83+ and an 84+. Both work exactly the same except the 84+ is faster and has more memory. The 84+ comes with some more preinstalled programs, but they can all be downloaded from the ti website anyways.

I think he meant includes as in programming includes. (Header files or whatever)

There is only one include I believe that works for the 83 and 83+. Doesn't work with my 84+

ti-83 assembler in 28 days, look it up on google. I've been doing 84+ assembler since 2005. You can message me up if you need help, hehe. You cna see my sig, I make games for the calc too. smile.gif

http://dragonfire.unitedti.org/asmin28/lesson/toc.html

I read that for like 2 years, hehe. Don't try learning it in 28 days, seriously, it's really hard to get used to it. It was the 2nd language I learned so it wasn't a big deal to me.

The tutorial tells you how to set up the assembler. I don't know include files you mean. I only use ti83plus.inc and it's available on ti's site.
