Whenever I make a post that I think would be quoted by someone else, I have to check back at that post a lot because I want to see what that person said. It's really time-consuming work, and sometimes I forget which post I'm looking for. But what if Sals had a box that you could check at My controls (or have a button next to the My controls button ei. New Quotes: (2)) that allowed you to see every quoted post? This idea would be very helpful and I can't think of anything that would go wrong.

Good idea, I'd love to see this.
The only problem, though, is if you're playing quote pyramid.

If you can somehow have the option to check which topics you don't want to monitor quotes, then I fully support this.

Hmmm, I support this as well. I know Sal's already has subscribing to threads but I think this would be much easier. Kinda like on youtube.

Intresting, I always forget what I posted and if I got a reply to that. I like this idea. Should the Assistant have this capability also?

Interesting suggestion, but i see how it could have it's uses.
I support, even though i have never had this happen, it seems it will help a lot of other people in the community here as well.

There is an option in IPB which stops quoting of quotes after so many quotes, if sal could switch that on then yeah it would be good.

It's a good idea, but there would have to be a check box to say wether or not you want to be notified. ie. Would you like to be notified for quotes? yes/no

In the acp it would say something like:
How many quotes can be embedded until it cuts off? (but more formally) Then an admin puts a number in.
