Did you use a tutorial for this?

The H in Homer is getting quite conflicted with the background.

I didn't use a tutorial. The H in Homer is hard to see. There's no other good color, and I find that it's the best place to put a name, but I'll try to do something.

Try making the text an orange glowing color to match the lines in the background, rotating it 40 degrees or so clockwise, and putting it by that little streak in the bottom left corner. That will be some good looking text that doesn't take away the focal, and it will take up some empty space.

This actually looks very nice, especially for a first. I'll give it a 7.5/10, 8.5 if you fix the text.

how did you make the background? C4d pasting or pentool?

-text is blurry
-extremely simple
-take off the outer glow of homer
-read some tutorials on lightning, text, etc.

White writing should be fine.
