Nothing big, but if someone's willing to do it, then that would be cool. 
Since rune scimitars have been updated doesn't that mean we'd also have to change to 'Forum Member' pip as well?
I personally think the new inventory pictures for whip/rune scim are awful but then again that's just me.

Bearing in mind I think my resize was still too big, and I have no idea on the background (which fails in my picture) etc. Also the fact that the scimitar was reversed doesn't help.
The Forum Admin one looks like an Ape Atoll Big Monkey Ape Gorilla thing jumped on the page, while the New Member one has too much contrast with the background. 
If we can't fit the new items to the old pips...what about brand new pips then?
Would be new items so up to date and perhaps a refreshing change.

I love the new member pip and what you did with the law rune. The whip looks like a sausage link though
The old ones are nice and all, but I think we should hold off on updating anything until:
- The Board System is Updated.
- The site gets a new layout and theme.
Otherwise, it would get to confusing, so in my honest opinion, we should update everything at once, rather then bits and pieces here and there. Of course, I'm for the idea of playing around with different stocks and renders for the pips and whatnot.

Pips are fine as they are, there's no need to try and act like Jagex and fix stuff that isn't broken.

I don't like either of them but I don't think that's because of Roy and -82-'s graphic skills more the new icon for rune scimitar is horrific.
I like the one that Roy has. What I didn't like about the first one is that there wasn't much blue, and blue is a key color of the item, but Roy fixed that up.

I don't see at all how changing the pips partially or completely would be one bit confusing. They still display the rank in which they're associated. People are more unreceptive to big changes than small ones, so it may be a good idea to do things in small steps, like rank images for example. I think the new Abyssal whip icon is terribly ugly and wouldn't mind sticking with the pips we have now for a longer period of time.
Edit @ post 24: I know what you're saying, but I believe the opposite to be true more often than not. We'll have to wait and see when it happens.

I'm not sure if they would fit in with any of the skins we have now, though. They look best with his parchment style skin that he's working on for the site. Now if only he could develop that skin onto the forums.. But anyway, if he can get that to work, we can have his pips for that skin and the pips we have now for our current skins.

I see what you mean, and I guess it is debatable both ways, but what I mean is, if we were to get all of these updates together, it would kind of fit a new theme and style, and maybe the community of Salmoneus might like getting used to something entirely new, rather then bits here and there. I like this one. It seems more clean.
I don't support changing the Admin Signiture. The new whip look terrible, and doesn't really match the color as well as the old one.
I do like the New "New Member" pip however. A much needed update i say.

I actually like this suggestion best. I don't think the pips have changed since I joined, but yeah, it'd be a fun switch.[as long as the new ones don't suck]

I like all the new items and those draft pips look great, you may not like the new weapons but you'll get used to it.
IF we are going to use the new scimitar then the best thing is just to put one scimitar rather than 2.

I agree, we need a new thing of them not just a little touch up ones. The whip looks kinda freaky and the scimitars are bad. (not how bad them, how Jagex made them look.)
It would be insane to have Sal get everyone to make new pips!

That's what the new items look like. Quite allot of people complained about the new and improved look of the whip on the forums but after a while no one cared, most people will easily get used to it.

It will be ages before the site gets updated, who knows if it is going to make that much of a difference to the forum itself. This is just a touch-up, not a major change and it will have nothing to do with the next board system update.
