Another news thing on Oasisnet.com said that it was not their last gig though, and they will finish their world tour before thinking about future album releases.

On this day I will celebrate. I can't stand Oasis.

Actually, Tony, I'm glad this is happening. I love Oasis's music, but they haven't put out anything incredible in the last decade, and most important of all, the Gallagher brothers are morons. Oasis has gone on too long, it needs to end.

I kinda wish they would've gone out a while ago before they made a bad name out of themselves, though.

Would've been okay if it was Liam quitting instead of Noel. Noel writes all of their music and can sing just as well as his brother, so an Oasis without Liam would be no loss.

I'm not too fussed only because I never really cared much about the band.

I wasn't even aware that Oasis still existed.

A friend of mine was very aware of them existing. In fact, their concert in Milan was scheduled just one day after Noel left the band, and he had a ticket.

I don't think there are words to explain how much he's pissed.

Has anyone seen the footage of Bloc Party announcing Oasis won't be playing Rock am Seine?

Oasis are extremely overrated. They don't sound great, and the material they have released is mediocre at best.

You've obviously never listened to (What's The Story) Morning Glory. An overrated band? Definitely. Mediocre? Not at all.

Now that would make me really angry. I'm guessing those tickets were not cheap. There's nothing worse than buying tickets and waiting to see your favorite band only to have your hopes crushed beneath the jack boot of despair.

Dig out your soul is awful, I listened to it about 4 times then got rid of it from my iPod. Don't Believe the Truth was okay, but I can't stand most of the singles on there. In fact I only like about 2 songs on it.

Before then I like the majority of their songs. Little by Little is underplayed imo, Wonderwall and Don't Look Back in Anger are terribly overplayed even though they are brilliant songs.
The song Morning Glory is actually my favourite song, and has been since I first heard it. All I remember is me ruining the CD I loved it so much when I was a toddler, and we had to buy another one
