ok so heres my extremely crazy moss giant ranging trip
the first pic is me firing a nuke out of my bow and at a moss giant and then the second one was just crazy! one moss giant had had it with a oak tree and was attack it and then suddenly a storm came out of no where and hit two unsuspecting players!

and now the next pic speaks for itself

WHen you make a fake, always ask yourself: does this look real?
If it doesn't, it is not a very good fake, because most fakes try to look as close to runescape as possible
So i'm sorry, but neither of your fakes look realistic.

Except you used the brush tool instead.


Next time you make a fake, actually put some work into it. Don't just use the brush tool.

I'll give you some advice
-Always crop
-Always save as .PNG
-Always have no friends speaking in a fake or logging in or out
-Never put in a random chatbox
-Make things look like they came from RuneScape

i didnt use tick bursh i used a relatively small one, how the heck do you expect me to shade it using paint when im uncertain to shade it otherwise and how do you expect me to crop it on paint! yes i could have done it with word but i actaully have a decent runescape account to play on and get its skills up!

You don't understand. Everybody uses Paint. Some fakes are really complex and have been made in paint only. It's hard to shade in paint, but you can use other items and just change their shape with the eraser tool.

Okay, let me be easier.

I'll lower the minuses. It gives a grand total of 3/10 average.

I use paint, most fakers use paint. Only few actually use photoshop. Or GIMP, or other stuff. Wolfie's fonts and The Group Faking Kit (GFK) is free. Use it, learn it. I admit, my first fake and ongoing was horrible. But I eventually learned it.

I'll get this through you, paint can be used to do some amazing stuff so don't even try to use that excuse.



I did that inside paint, and that was nothing that could have been done. People have made city's out of paint.

Alright, i get annoyed when i see people saying "i use paint" as their reason to why the fake is bad. I've used paint all my life, and it's worked great for me. It's capable of shading, doing fonts, and yes, it can crop too. Here is a link to all my fakes. They are all made in Paint. Look at the ratings of them in people's comments. They are fairly high because i spent a lot of time in them to make them look realistic

Secondly, make sure the picture looks like it could come from RuneScape. A nuke shooting out of an arrow? I doubt it. Single colored and badly drawn lightning from the sky? Yeah, right. What you need to do is shade the pictures to make them look more realistic. Also, have a mage performing a new lightning spell in the distance so it gives the fake a sense of reality, not just random lightning hitting players. Imagine an update like that

Lastly, always save as a .PNG (and it it's transparent .GIF) NEVER save as a .JPG or .JPEG.

I think the only good thing i saw you type was "I uploaded with TinyPic" which is my favorite uploader. But honestly, that's the only good thing about your first post. Also, don't ask for awards. Only i'm allowed to do that in my sneaky ways.

I rate 1/10 for both, sorry but no effort was put in, and i really don't know if you are joking or being serious. Hope you take out advice before makeing a fake again.

Dude I use paint, and here is my WORST fake.

They're ok, but they look rushed and they aren't too terribly hard.

I give the first one a 3/10
And the second a 5/10 for effort.

Can i just say to those of you giving ratings in the minuses that it looks really bad. Cant you just tell them how to improve.
Some people don't even know what a fake is let alone how to do one. The people who look at our fakes think we use fancey 3d programmes that jagex use and that they could never do the same on ms paint. So theres no point telling them its wrong and to redo it. Just tell them how to fake. noaiXiaon your not perfect yourself so giving -6/10 is just insulting.

Basically the main flaw in your fake is drawing things with the paint brush tool . This doesnt look very realistic. What you should do it take different screenshots out of runescape and use that to create the desired object. For a (bad) example take one of my first fakes (Obviously there are better examples but it's best to use an example of your own instead of someone elses.). Instead of just painting the car I used a raft found on a river, and that control pad out of the Molly event. Put them together and voila a car.

This is a simple example it uses two objects instead of multiple objects like others use.

This is the kind of thing which is good for practicing faking .

You should also be able to crop which involves getting rid of the background (carefully) with the paint or eraser tool. This makes it so that you could be standing in lumbidge but then you could take your character out and have them standing pretty much anywhere in RuneScape .

As Top Hat said there are many Kits and Guides you can use to help with your faking most of which can be found superglued to the top of this section.

I understand that you're new here, so let me clarify a few things:
GFK--the Group Faking Kit. The updated version can be found here.

Wolfie's Fonts--a collection of fonts used in RuneScape that Wolfiemario, something of a faking legend, put together. They can be found here.

Low Ratings--please read to see WHY you were rated so low. Perhaps you didn't do too well and the other guy has rated quite fairly. And don't you dare say "but I use paint so i get higher ratingz" or similar noobish things, because many fakers (me included) use Paint and actually make rather good fakes. Good programs don't equal good fakes, btw. I have Fireworks and I can't use it because it's too complicated.

"Surreal" and "RuneScapish"--in a fake, things aren't really supposed to be "surreal." A small semblance of "RuneScapeness" must be maintained--and using a brush to splash color on a screenshot doesn't require enough effort and is NOT something Jagex will implement.

And please work on your spelling and grammar--it's not compulsory, but can you please be more legible?

Sorry- Quite bad.

First fake- 3/10. Basically, it is just drawing with the brush.
Second fake- 4/10. Slightly better than the other but still bad.
