This is a first attempt at drawing a self-portrait (my avatar). I'm not very good at faces as I've had little practice in that aspect of drawing; constructive criticism is welcome.

I think it's actually very good, the only things that seem a bit off are the lips and the eye, but maybe that's because I don't see any eyelashes. The lips are just a bit too big, but otherwise I like it, very well drawn!

It's pretty nice, although quite sketchy (which isn't necessairily a bad thing). One thingy: when drawings hair, don't make an obvious outline like that, but use like a tiny bit of shading for some realism.

I definitely think you have some drawing skills in you, so I'd love to see some more stuff from you (perhaps some stuff that has more content, like a whole person instead of a face).

Wow, I really like it. From an artistic aspect, I'd have to say everything in that picture is just absolutely perfect, with the lips looking kinda weird. Keep up D

the only complaint is that the left side of the lips look a little weird.

As Reap said, you do kinda remind me of L.

The arm looks a little strange.
