This is just a cut/paste fake and the cut/pasting isn't that good. There's still an edge where all the grass was. If you want to cut and paste a character, use the white brush or pencil tool to carefully cut ALL THE WAY AROUND the edge. Don't just use the eraser tool, splash it on and leave gaps of whatever background was in the picture.

Wow, this is a big improvement from the last one!

Anyway, for the rating:

-1 The player on the rock is way to big compared with the barbarian and other guy.
-1 No dot on the minimap.
-1 Instead of blacking the friend logging in/logging out just crop them out.
-1 The guy is obviously cut out. (Tip for that at the bottom of the page)
-0.5 Grammar mistake (I know I'm picky).
+0.5 First fake (sort of the other one doesn't really count in my eyes).
+1 Big improvement from the other fakes.
+1 High detail.

To 'cut' something out and stick it again you need to paint the whole area around the object you are copying and paste white (with fill and if neccesary >.<zoom in 800% to make sure you don't leave out any pixels). Then copy the object with white area (the area you copy should be only the object and white area) and paste onto your screenie. Then finally make it transparent with either the 'draw opaque' tool under the image tab or the picture with the shapes and the transparent dotted square. Then position your image where want it and tada you're finished. (On windows 2003)

It's not 'awesome' and you haven't 'nailed it'. Just look how out of proportion the guy on the rock is and how poorly cropped he looks. There isn't anything else interesting to look at on this fake.

Grammar mistakes are good to be picky on.

And it's hardly hard to do that in high detail - give me 5 minutes (and a computer able to run it ) and I could make a better one tbh. Horrible cropping, the grass is still on the larupia guy, and it's not that funny imo.

Noxas mage22, do you really think that you can get famous by making a whole bunch of spammy, low-quality fakes?

The cardinal rule of screenshot faking--saving images as .PNG, and never as .JPG--has been violated on this fake. If this fake were of high enough quality, I might not take off too much (although I would definitely take off some points, because the image quality would be horrid in any case and all experienced fakers know that), but roughly copy-pasting a guy onto a screenshot (without completely getting rid of all of the person's original background and not bothering to at least screeny the guy at the right angle), not including the whole screenshot (could we please see a chatbox, inventory, minimap, etc? It's not at all hard to do in Paint. I've done it repeatedly. I'd post a link to my gallery for you, but I'll bet you good money that you'll bump it and get it closed by the mods), and then saying "thanks to rachel elizabeth i have reach a hole new level of screenshot fakes," "this one has nailed it," and "this one is totally awsome," you're writing your own death sentence.

Bobby knowling looked like a good faker... I trusted him/her.



Anyways I'm going to not rate but just point out the flaws.

I trusted him too... But then it turned out he was just Macki trolling
I've seriously got the impression that this guy (noxas mage22) is also a troll
Then again, maybe the paranoia from all the recent times we've been trolled is starting to get to me

Trolled us with half-decent fakes. All simple text fakes, rather basic flaws. Got banned and turned out he was Macki trolling us.

I didn't know Macki prior to his banning, but he apparently enjoys trolling. He got his ban for personally admitting to a mod that he trolled with over 10 accounts

i save all my fakes as bmp
im am not a troller so why has this topic gone that way
and i only just learnt jhow to do proper fakes

As a tip, I do believe Tinypic converts bmps into JPG, so maybe we can save this one yet.

Just go back to your fake, save it as a .PNG file, not a .BMP, and upload it again.

I mean, who IS Macki?

As far as I can gather, some person who loved trolling, got banned for telling a mod about how he had 10 other accounts that trolled too, was a bit of a jerk, and made this trolly forum and banned every member on it. Something like that...

Noxas is definately not a troll, I know him from Runescape (saw him about a year ago, for the first time )

You might want to check out Poke's new guide. Also use faking kits. Doing fullscreen fakes for your first lot are basically a death sentence, unless you are incredibly talented. I'd stick to SD for now, so you can learn the trade.
