Anyone know of a really good, smooth blogging software I can install on my website (I'm assuming through FTP)?

I looked them up online, but I want to get a personal opinion from someone that isn't payed by ads

I'm real happy with WordPress. They have a lot of neat styles and a real easy installation and update process. One problem they've had is the security issues from the extensions created by non-system developers. If you don't install any extensions (I don't have the need for them), you should be pretty secure.
