Hello people. It's obviously been a while since we released a paper but we haven't been totally inactive. We've accumulated a ton of articles and a brand new method of delivering them to you. After a ton of staff changes and activity checks and discussion, we give you the new and improved newspaper!

I also disagree with placement. I doubt new articles will be released at the same rate as new blog entries. Bottom of the page would get in the way less. Or is there a hide option I haven't bothered to look for?

I must say I dislike the fact the newspaper is now in a blog; I much preferred the old format, however the content was up to standard and I've enjoyed reading it. Great work guys.

The Salmoneus article is months old already. It's nice to see the newspaper in a new format, but to start the format off with an old interview doesn't get me interested in reading much more.

Edit: C'mon Stobbo. I'm sure you got some tech articles yourself. I haven't heard much from you in the past few newspapers.

We have many more articles. We just didn't want to release all of them at the same time and go back down to 0 articles.

We can just relax with our tea and crumpets for now, until we only have one article per section and start running around frantically.

How often do you plan on releasing articles under this new system? News gets old fast.

I'm not sure what the decision was on the time between articles, but it will be relatively quickly. Once we run out of the articles we have stored up, we're going to release articles as they get accepted.

I don't think blogs are really that suitable for a newspaper.

And tbh warning reap just because he said something about the 'The Newspaper' was highly unnecessairy.

I agree, it was rather unkempt, although the actual content of the paper was rather good.

Who said that Reap got warned for saying anything? We just told him to shut up as a courtesy

Also keep in mind that we just came out with this so we're going to tweak the way it's done to make it perfect over time.

The truth of the matter is, we are to incompetent to work the way we were previously. Personally, i say hats off to everyone because if this hadn't have happened how far away do you think the next paper would have been. Always room for change though, right?

How 'bout a website that's like a blog but not on our blog system? Cause this isn't working too well

We talked about it, and we haven't ruled it out yet, but there are certain problems with that idea. We're definitely open to suggestions along those lines, though.

When there are single articles being released this will make more sense.

It would allow us to give helpful suggestions if you expressed the problems you have or predict.

It's hard to announce new articles with an off-site blog unless we release them in packages like we did to start off this blog, but as you can see it makes it kind of cluttered. The comment section is much better here because on something like Wordpress someone can say "you guys fudgein suck lolol" which wouldn't be too helpful. There are other problems but those ones come to mind right away.

One of my favorite newspapers I think. The content was fabulous, I enjoyed each section, and I could comment on articles which is a bonus. But I did prefer the older format on the basis that it was easier to read and navigate, this seems a bit like a sprawl on one page, no contents etc.

Due to the amount of people that dislike pretty much everything about the new system, we're rethinking our method of releasing articles. That's also why we've stopped releasing articles in the blog.
