Evil Pumpkin
In your opinion, which weapon is better, a dragon longsword, or a dragon scimitar?
Scooby
The dragon scimitar, mostly because of it's speed and a choice of training strength with. The special attack on it might not be that useful but I recommend the scimitar.

dragon scimitar is much better
Tubby
Dragon Longsword, in my opinion, is much better. The stats are a lot better and its only slightly slower. Don't really know why its called a "noob weapon"
Rouge_menace
I've always been a fan of longswords, so I'm going with the Dragon Longsword. I use it when training strength, and get a lot of questions from people who think that the scimitar has infinitely better stats or something. It is less accurate, less powerful yet faster than the longsword. Longsword also has a better special for PvM, which is usually what I use it for.
Death Metal
The longsword, better special, better stats at the cost of a little speed. The scimitar is just faster, which makes it better for training.
Choccy
I prefer long sword for it's special effect, but I'm revolted by the new D-long so I will only ever use D-scim now. I miss old D-long sad.gif, and old D-skim, they both look like they've been windwakered out.
Extreme Steak
Their is a lot of debate about this, people who have dragon scimitars and have done "Monkey Madness" will most likely say that the Dragon Longsword is a nooby weapon, since monkey madness if fairly hard they will say that dragon scimitar is better because to obtain it was hard work. But the only difference is that the Dragon Scimitar attacks faster & Is good for training strength, but then again the Dragon Longsword has better stats and has a better spec. So its your choice but I would go with the Dragon Longsword, I normally like scimitar's but I like the spec and stats of Dragon Longsword. Hope I helped wink.gif

D scimmy has been proven to be faster xp/hour. Whoever says D long, well, is wrong.

Sir, you kiddies?

You are fail. And you are what nine? You're most likely the most young person on the forums. And both need a quest. D long needs lost city and D scim needs monkey madness. I know that and I'm f2p. God you annoy me.

I'd say D scim is better. No idea why though. unsure.gif

D-long for high hits, D-scimmy for speed, take your pick.

When you got a decent attack level speed is all that matters tongue.gif. So D scim > D long anyday

I've killed the demon with 28 magic, 1 pray, 1 def, and 41 hp. I think you can manage.

um so is there a safe spot to rang from?
MindArkantos
I like the D Simmy Even though ive never wielded it but i like the share xp

I like the Dragon Longsword better. Although the dragon scim is faster, the dragon long is cheaper, easier to obtain, is more powerful, and has a better spec attack. (Although it's really ugly now sad.gif)

D long is amazing in bh people dont expect the special to hit as high as it does.
Kesthetic
Dragon long. When train I feel I hit harder with D long, and speed isn't that much slower. +The spec actually HITS DECENT AMOUNT.
Shooter585
A dragon scimitar is, on average, higher hitting per second. This leads me to believe it is a better weapon then a longsword.
