Whenever I click on "View member's topics/posts", the forum always says that the admin has enabled search flood- blah blah blah... at least 20 seconds before trying again.
I waited more than 20 seconds, in fact a minute, but the message keeps popping up.

Were you continuing to browse while you waited? You have to not search at all (No "View New Posts" or anything) for the 20 seconds.

Click the spanner at the corner, press options, press under the hood tab, then turn off the dns pre-fetching thing.
Then go to command prompt (run as admin if vista), type in:
ipconfig /flushdns
EDIT: Press enter at this point.
Reload google chrome and hey presto.

google chrome is glitched and bugged when it comes to browsing boards
the cause is not the boards but google chrome
other browsers don't have that problem
if someone could find a fix it would be interesting
in the meantime there isn't much to be done about it if you want to keep using chrome

Well it worked for me when the same problem came up, anyway, maybe your not following correctly so I will give full instructions:
1. Click the spanner on the top of Google chrome.
2. Press options.
3. Press "Under the Hood" tab.
4. Turn OFF DNS pre-fetching check box.
5. Go to command prompt, (If on Vista, right click command prompt and select "Run as administrator".
6. Type in ipconfig /flushdns (Always remember the space between "ipconfig" and the "/"
7. It should say "Successfully flushed the DNS resolver cable".
8 Type in ipconfig /registerdns (Again remember the space)
If you are on a mac then you will have to use specific instructions, just PM me if you want them.
