So I would like to know how someone can record and or edit video with your desktop in the background and you (being recorded by your webcam) in a small box on your video.

Heres some good examples:

I know how to record your screen and webcam etc, I just don't know how to edit a video like that. I try to use Sony Vegas but I can't get a little narrative box to work.

Any help would be appreciated.

I don't think you can do it with Windows Movie Maker. You might be able to do it with iMovie, I don't know though.

I use Sony Vegas, so I would assume you'd just import both the videos, then put them each on a different layer. Resize the one with your head and move it to the lower right and bam, done.

How would you resize a video in Sony Vegas?

Have two separate layers (with the video you want on top on the top layer) > on the top layer click Track Motion... > move it where you want and resize using the corner of the square.

I just tried it out and it works great. tongue.gif
