Destroy V1
Pretty straightforward, complete the poll and post what you picked smile.gif If you are unaware of the update/what I am talking about, refer to the "Retro Revival" Dev Blog.

On a side note, you could discuss what you want to see in the update.

I wouldn't pay anything for one tongue.gif. Even if I had the money I would buy membership instead. biggrin.gif

I technically don't use dollars, but I said $8+ and $21+ because it isn't really that much for a game that I would find challenging and fun to play rather than wander round bored on RuneScape.

If we have to pay, I'm not.

I tried classic once. (not in the set dates, mind)
Terrible game, bad graphics, glitches, confusing controls. The only good thing about it is the nostalgia. I'm not paying £10 for a nostalgia feeling.

Thats exactly why I'm playing poke aware.gif Nostalgia is addictive.

It all depends on the abilities the server renters are entailed to set on the server. If we were given the opportunity to fully moderate the players of the server (including permanently removing them), I would probably pay a few bucks a month for a private server or even a larger sum for a couple year rental. They would need to guarantee the server upkeep like all the others running their games. I wouldn't want poor service and technical support just because it's not the primary game. I'd expect a quality product and service for what I'm paying for.

Like Agent F said, I'm not paying for something that might not work but, I'd gladly try it once. Might not play it after that but you never know. tongue.gif

I'd set the characters to start over from the game. Because there will be significantly less players than there are now, it would somewhat give the sense of how Runescape was back in 2001-2002. Of course the players would know what they're doing ("certing" may be new to some), so it wouldn't give the complete brand-new-game feeling. I don't like the idea of allowing players to set their skills and items to whatever they want. A game you have all the cheats for can be fun for a while, but the fun won't last.

Nope no renting or buying for me. Regular runescape is fine for me.

the pourpose of rs is to interact with players if u want your own sever then don't play a MMRPG

i hardly play runescape.. how would i have time for that? slanty.gif
Escape The Fate
I'd do it just for my clan biggrin.gif

Like Agent says, the fun would be short-lived with servers where anything is possible. Once you've done it all, the fun will wear off, and you'll be wondering why you spent the money for such an incomplete package. I'm interested to see what happens and of course i'll give it a go (if no money is involved) but I doubt i'll be buying up a server any time soon smile.gif
