If you didn't notice, the blinking line in the chatbox is now black, not blue.

Just saying, might need to use it for faking.
Randomness
The small line that replaces the asterisk used previously shouldn't be too much of a concern, in fact; once I am able to go on Runescape tomorrow, I could make a small tutorial for putting it in there. wink.gif

We might as well not use it. It blinks, so you might end up taking a screeny without it in the picture anyway.

Yeah, something trivial like that only makes a difference for people making animated fakes. This also means that interactive fakes with a chatbox won't lose points anymore (Flash doesn't let you change the text input cursor, so there's no way to fake the asterisk we used to have ohmy.gif)
I'll get right on remaking my kit so it has the new buttons and tabs, though

EDIT: Finished!

Also, I updated my cursors kit:

It now has the link/hand cursor from the window that comes up when you click the ? icon, as well as a ladder cursor for ladders/stairs/ropes that go both ways, and icons for crafting, firemaking, and smithing (btw, the crafting icon has a glitch - if you hover over the "Spin" emote, it will appear because the command begins with "spin", even though you're not spinning anything for crafting ohmy.gif)

Even if I do make a animated chat fake I'm not going to bother adding the flickering line

Also, I updated my cursors kit:

The only thing I think I would use here are the blank cursors, because I can already find all of your images and more here where it is easier to copy.

Gah! Curse you again RuneWiki! angry.gif
Well, actually, I should be cursing myself, considering I also contributed a few to that page
But someone got all the spell cursors before I had a chance to upload mine sad.gif
EDIT: You do know that half of their cursors are missing pixels, right? I'm not going to fix that for them, so if you use some of theirs in a fake, and it's got flaws, points are coming off
Besides, when I originally created the kit, it was before RW even had an article on cursors. I was working on making my own article for the heck of it, but I learned how much I suck at WikiText, so someone else got it before me sad.gif
EDIT 2: But what if you're animating in Flash? I think it would be a pain to right-click->Save As every cursor file and import them individually pfft.gif
With mine, it's one file, and all the layers have been separated and transparencied, so there's no issue and you only need one import. Plus, you only need to save my kit to your computer once, instead of making a whole folder for cursors and saving all the RW ones in there pfft.gif. And if you copy a cursor from RuneWiki directly into paint, it would get a black outline in the way pfft.gif
The main reason I'm making the kit is convenience - all the cursors in one image, a smooth import for people animating in Flash, copies of all icons separated from cursor (handy for making new buttons/interfaces), etc... I'm not going to stop making my kit just because RuneWiki's got an article slanty.gif

So have you made a psd file for this that I can download?

No, since animating is mainly for Flash, I made it a Fireworks PNG. If you import it to Flash or open it in Fireworks, it'll have all the layers and transparency. It'd be useless in a PSD since you would have to sort through all the layers until you find the cursor you need slanty.gif
Just right-click the picture and click "Save Image As" and try opening it with Fireworks or importing it to Flash, and it should work
Just make sure if you do a Flash import that you uncheck all the boxes that say they'll rasterize/flatten it, you don't want anything flattened or you lose the layers ohmy.gif

Wow, I didn't know that was possible with PNG files

Only if you made the PNG in Fireworks or used Fireworks to convert a PSD or other multi-layer file into a PNG. Just another reason why I love Fireworks tongue.gif
Of course, you have to be careful not to open a Fireworks PNG in MS Paint, if you accidentally save, then all the layers get flattened ohmy.gif

btw. there was a hidden update that prevents the cursor line from appearing in the public chat area UNLESS you type something, which includes a slash for clan chatting.

the line always appears in private chat/notes/adding, ignoring... and so on.
