I'd definitely have to pick King Crimson's original recording.
Great song, but in my opinion, not the best on that album. I prefer Epitaph and the Court of the Crimson King.

For listening purposes I choose Epitaph, for relaxing background I choose In the Court, and this is a bit in the middle. I like it most for it's avant-gardistic jazz and rock influences.

Great band. The bassist played in liquid tension experiment which is how I discovered them, might want to check them out.

King Crimson are one of my favourite bands. Ever.
My dad actually owns one of the first pressings bought at the time of the release .
Nice to see some love on the forums.

The singer (Emerson) also played with Emerson Lake and Palmer. He also had a solo piece called "The sage", check it on youtube.

Robert Fripp is awesome. Check out Eno & Fripp.. or anything by him.
