I'd definitely have to pick King Crimson's original recording.
Great song, but in my opinion, not the best on that album. I prefer Epitaph and the Court of the Crimson King.

For listening purposes I choose Epitaph, for relaxing background I choose In the Court, and this is a bit in the middle.
I like it most for it's avant-gardistic jazz and rock influences.

Great band. The bassist played in liquid tension experiment which is how I discovered them, might want to check them out.
King Crimson are one of my favourite bands. Ever.

The singer (Emerson) also played with Emerson Lake and Palmer. He also had a solo piece called "The sage", check it on youtube.
