just a few weeks ago jagex launched the TEK5 update. this update gave new textures to objects in the background and gave lumbridge castle a new look. this update also added some new tools like goals and notes. it also gave a splash of new coler to the scenery. TEK5 also gave users a new interface to control the display in options.

please post a conment on this topic or post your foughts on the pole. after about a month i will tally up the restults to start a topic on the imformation i got from your votes.

RT5 didn't change the game a lot. The big changes are yet to come.

Cheatingnick is right, but I always look forward to any graphical update, no matter how unnecessary or how much it glitches in the first week.

I hadn't played in a month and even I could notice how much of a difference there is with the smoothing out.

i found changes to the bridge in lumbridge that goes over the river and also where you click to logout there is now a question mark right next to it

well i never have seen the polls section before but this is more of a split topic where people can talk about it and post on the polls.

It's the subsection in this section. It's at the top of the screen if you're looking at the threads in Runescape Discussion. And the 'split topics' go there too, that's why it's called Polls and Surveys.

by the way there are some glitches that were patched up like the one with the timer for races

I like the new graphics overall with the noted exception below. I don't use the notes or goals much but don't dislike them. I think some of the textures/details are just a bit overdone. For instance, woodgrain on the docks almost looks too "grainy". Can't think of another example at the moment. I'm going to go to bed!
