I'm no genius on all this stuff, so I wanna know your opinion on how much I could sell my pc for.

Here are a few basic specs.

Mainboard: MEDIONPC MS-7501
Processor: AMD Phenom 9500 Quad-Core 2.20 GHz
Chipset: AMD 780
RAM: 3GB
Graphics: NVidia GeForce 9500 GT
Hard Disk: WDC (500 GB)
OS: Windows Vista Home Premium SP2 (or formatted hard drive)

(This is a desktop computer, of course.)

Perfect condition.

If you could tell me an estimate for how much the computer could sell for (perhaps a minimum and maximum price would be helpful too), that'd be really awesome.

If I need to give some more specs, just tell me and I'll figure it out.

It's not the best... but it's pretty good. Advertise it in the right way and i'd say £600+. Don't know what that is in € though, sorry.

£600 is a very reasonable price to me. The computer does really have great performance.

Some more opinions?

I don't know about prices on the other side of the world, but definitely $500-600 USD.

If this really is 'perfect condition' and 'as new' and you advertise it as such then you should be able to get what i said earlier.

There's a huge difference between $985 (£600) and $500-600.

Any more opinions?

Out of curiosity, is it a custom-made pc or a branded pc?

People here like paying more for branded ones.

Except a computer you buy over there for 1000 pounds is worth 1000 USD here.

Branded. It's made by Medion. I had a very hard time trying to find my model online. It's nowhere on Medion's website or any other website so I couldn't figure out what the original buying price was (my dad got it from his company for free). Hence why I'm asking this.

I see. I rather sell it for £600 than $600 though. smile.gif

Sorry but I say it's only worth about $400 - $500 in the US. Here's a computer somewhat similar to yours. Worse processor, more RAM, more HDD, much worse graphics, overall about equal. It's only $340 on sale. Of course Gateways are known to be low-priced, and only recently did quad-cores come down in price because Intel just released their i5s and such. But these are only US prices, I hear things are more expensive across the pond or something. Good luck if you're gonna sell it. cool.gif

It all depends on how you advertise it. Word it correctly and you could sell it for up to/around $100 more than it's worth.
