Will this board be upgrading to Ip.Board 3, if so when? I was just curious to know.

Sal's a busy man.

He told me a while ago that he would be upgrading when version 3.0.2 came out. However, that version already has. My guess would be then that he has no time to upgrade when his time is consumed by doing other things. For one, he's a college student, meaning that he's busy with his schoolwork. Two, he's working on redesigning the site. And three, in order to upgrade to IPB 3, he first has to rewrite all the unique scripts we have now, such as the highscores.

Just cut him some slack. He's gonna upgrade eventually.

I know he's a busy guy, I wasn't demanding anything here, was just curious. And besides I'd rather have the site overhaul before we update to 3.

Last I heard, the new site template was being worked on by Neo Avatars and One (Fatalysm) over the summer. When the new school semester begun, Neo had to halt the development. Because One is a designer and not a developer, he cannot continue the task. It's been a long while since I've heard Sal say anything about the site or forum changes. I too am interested in a progress report. I've even offered to lend a hand in development.

In all honesty, I'd recommend sticking with 2.3x

Why is that? I thought you loved version 3.

It seemed great at first, but the AdminCP is Terrible, a ton of awesome features on sals won't be available (because they are 2.3x mods, that aren't available). 2.3x is just much better in my opinion
