Is this good for runescape to run well? (Dell Dimension 2350)
MS Windows XP Home SP3,Intel Pentium 4, CPU;2.00GHZ, Intel 82845G/GL/GE/PE/GV graphics controller

What are the best ways to making java/runescape run faster? (it lags every 7 sec)

You could have the best computer in the world but still have loads of lag if you have a poor Internet connection. What type of connection from the modem to the ISP do you have? Are you connected through wireless to a router?

Wired connections always say that, use this site to check your real speed, and post the image it gives you here.

That is the speed from your computer to the next device, or the router in this case.

@ Gunmen: Has Runescape always been laggy? Have you tried lowering the graphics options within the game? Have you scanned for viruses, spyware, or malware with an updated and reliable scanner?

Take everything unnecessary out of startup by typing msconfig into the run box. It's in the start menu.
