I'm not asking you to precisely define yourself, I'm just asking what you attribute yourself to the most. I am well aware of the fact that individuality exists. I'm very liberal on personal freedoms and social issues but a moderate for economic issues. I want to see what everyone is.

It's interesting to see that Sal's is quite a dominantly liberal community, whereas I've found places like RuneHQ are dominantly conservative.

Its because saying we're left makes us look like we're smart and reasonable or something like that. I actually had to google what left-wing was after i posted because all i know is that stereotypically Hillbillies=Right and i just knew i didn't want to be like John McCain so i randomly chose left.
I've changed my mind though.
Right and Right on both because Arnold is Right-wing and i don't want to be terminated.

Why are there so many left-wingers in economics here? Left wing (I don't mean center-left, I mean REAL left) hardly ever does anything right.

Well the explanation probably is that most of them are wannabe socialists. Center-left economics exists though. I know a guy who beats all the political tests

Nice pun.
It depends on their personal definitions of "left". I think that a little bit of socialism here and there is good, but not a lot - so I call myself moderate. Some people would consider me left, and others may say I'm right. It's all about interpretations. This is a poll of self-definition, not someone else's analysis.

No, I did not (I'm somewhat of a libertarian myself). Libertarians and near-anarchists are very left on personal freedom and very right on economics.

No. Left for social issues unless it interferes with your right for economic beliefs.
Because everything should be fiscally respectable, or you don't believe in it.
To be socially left, you have to be fiscally moderate, because it just doesn't go hand in hand.

Yeah, I've noticed a lot of romanticism in these socialists wannabes... It's a whole thing you know, it's not just political ideals, it's the way they dress, the music they listen to...

I am strongly for many social freedoms, and strongly opposed to others. It seems weird to define hyper-liberal as "you can do whatever the heck you want" and hyper-conservative as "you can't do anything," but I guess that's how society puts it, so meh. I put "Moderate."
I am in favor of limited government economic interference, but only when the taxpayer can afford it. Unless many human lives as at stake (like in World War II, when we racked up a debt of hundreds of billions because we had no choice), it's never good to incur a debt to solve a temporary problem that will come back to bite the nation in the rear an unspecified amount of time later. If Obama doesn't decrease the national debt, he'll have to be pretty darn amazing to not qualify as a "negative" president, in my eyes. So I put "Moderate" for the economy first.
The partisan in me is annoyed that only 1 out of 33 voters said they were right-wing in personal freedom. Hello, partisan.

I like high levels of personal freedom on everything. I believe restricting of any freedom should always be done as a last resort and not without very, very good reason. So that makes me Right Wing.
On economics I believe in Free Market, and that Unions need to be checked as 50$ an hour paychecks are far more then is practical. So that makes me Right Wing as well.

I can't believe so many people are left as far as personal freedom.
I can imagine people being economic left, it puts too much faith in humanity's ability to put aside individual ambition, value, self-worth, self esteem, pride and happiness for the sake of the community (Others), but it at least sounds nice on paper.
