Nickelback was fine after like their first two albums but every single one of their songs are the same. The Beatles are the most overrated band of all time. So I'll go with them. They suck.

I mean Jonas Brothers are pretty universally disliked, but they're also pretty universally loved, which is why they're way richer than I'll ever be. Not that I like them or anything.. as for the rest, they're all liked and disliked by different people. In my opinion, if a band's popular enough to be disliked by so many people, it's loved by many more.

Although seriously, who DOESN'T like Linkin Park?

Linkin park kicks ass... Though i could sleep better knowing the jonas brothers are in hell.

Exactly. Everything up until Minutes to Midnight was awesome but then they got all mainstream and annoying.

Lil Wayne- He was in a boy-band and then tried going all ghetto rapper and failed hard.

Limp Bizkit- I hate them because despite the fact that there absolute trash, i actually enjoy there music.

Nickelback- My moms boyfriend while i was growing up looked exactly like Chet and although the poor guy never did anything wrong (infact he was pretty damn nice to me) I've had a Vendetta against Nickelback for years. I don't much care for there music either but not so much to warrant my hatred for them.



Unfortunately after that Linkin Park started spiraling downhill pretty fast. Chesters voice is messed nowadays and the rest of the band are olderish and not as bad-ass as they used to be.

Micheal Jackson's music was not disliked. Him as a person was because of court chagers, and etc.
Im 100% sure that those bands arent "universally" disliked.
Jonas Brothers are obviously famous for a reason, girls like them.
Nickelback is liked by many people, why else are they still famous? DJ's only play songs on the radio if they know it will get lots of listeners.
Green Day is a great band, i can understand why you dont like them, they're newest album wasnt theyre best, but heck i still like them.
Linkin' Park is great, i dont know what the heck your talking about.

Keep one thing in mind, you cant judge other genres if you dont like them

Michael Jackson I'd say was pretty hated considering

1. He can be seen hanging his baby over a balcony

and

2. Countless people believe that he was a child molester

It's the whole "people want what they can't have" deal. Joe Jackson himself said that Michael's sale's would fly up after he died, and it's all people want his music now that they can't have it any more.

Back on topic, I hate the Indigo Girls. They have whining voices that make me want to stick my head in the garbage dispoosal...

you guys just named a bunch of mainstream bands/artists. which should in theory make them some of the most LIKED bands/artists. i think the Sex Pistols are more universally disliked than the bands you named. i don't hate them. but many many people don't like them.

and i think Michael Jackson always had more fans than detesters. there were just times when the haters were very outspoken.

That's just precious. Who still hates a band 30 years after all the outrageous stuff they've done? They haven't even done anything remotely controversial since then. And even if that's not the case, the Pistols are hardly at the height of their popularity at the moment. Maybe I'm missing something.

Virtually everyone I know at the moment wants to kill Brokencyde. There are even plans in the works to sabotage one of their shows in Portland.

I know alot of people who dislike the music. And the topic is called "Most Disliked Bands/Artists", so he can still be on the list if people like the music. Personally I think his recent popularity is 100% down to his death

That video's not original. It's been around for about two years now. It's still hilarious. So true.

The song was done after like a year or 2 after Meteora then the guy posted the video after MtM came out and the guy almost didn't post it do to MtM's lack of rap. Glad he did cuz it's funny.

I strongly dislike Enter Shikari for making a laughingstock out of what is decent in screams in music.

I doubt the singer can scream the way he does in the songs, and I doubt the other players can actually play the instruments they purportedly play.

i didn't really mean to say that people hate them just that a lot of people don't like punk....and i mean a lot...especially where i am from. they were just the first punk band that came to mind. therefore i believe they are more universally disliked than the Jonas Brothers.
