This afternoon I got bored and joined the Salmoneus cc. I say hey slammers. A few people said hey. Then some noob said bronzepenis for no reason. I assume this is why I was kicked. Why are people getting kicked for no reason?

Sometimes two or more mods kick the same person at near to the same time, and it ends up kicking the person above the offender. It's probable his name was next to yours alphabetically and you were the unfortunate victim of this glitch, it's been in existence since the introduction of CCs.

It could just be that the chat-mod clicked your on accident. It happens sometimes if your names are close together. I guess if you have a question just private message the mod that was in the chat at the time.

After I was kicked I asked my friend Mr Hardrune to ask sleepy why he/she kicked me. He said something about logins and crap which idk so I'm having a hard time figuring out if it was accident or for abusive power.

I've been kicked by this a couple times. It's unfortunate, but nothing can really be done until Jagex makes the tool easier to manage. When there are 15 people or so, we've been asked to leave the chat for a minute so the ban list is cleared. I don't think the current mods really do that anymore though.

Apparently you were kicked because you were banned from the CC for a week due to some reason. I think the reason was spamming another CC, unless that was about someone else.

It was done the other day actually so if it truly was an accidental kick, one could PM a mod and ask if the chat would mind being cleared. Usually everyone agrees and clears out.

I was denied my request from Don Florty earlier this summer, but glad I can go to someone else. Thanks for the tip, Vogrin.

But that does not directly involve Sal's, does it? Ex. Fabis got banned only after he hacked accounts here, not when he hacked another forum.

Don't blame me.. I got into an argument with one of the CC mods because I disagreed with someone being suspended from the CC for spamming another, different CC.

Sometimes when there's a large chat, it's impractical to ask the whole chat to leave, or if there's a large number of people that do not want to do it, it doesn't take place. Or sometimes, you have
uber noobs like Dr Skull who are afk and sit in the Cc for 5 minutes so we can't do it

Sorry MoW. Sleepy meant to kick Polto, but accidentally kicked you instead. Polto is currently banned for spamming other clan chats. *sheepish*

Moderators make mistakes too. They are humans after all. (except sleepy, humans don't have tentacles)
I've been kicked by egg twice because my name used to be always next to a spammer's name and egg fails.

what makes you think that was accident???

yeah well it happens
and as Agent F says, without a better interface there isn't much we can do to prevent it and accidents will happen
