Have you ever almost died? I have only come close once when I was swimming was 8 or 9 I think and Almost drowned by accidentally stepping into the deep end...

Yeah, I was swimming one day and swimming alone in the middle of the pool. Suddenly my feet left solid ground, and I swallowed a mouthful of chlorine water... By a stroke of luck, I managed to float across the pool and grab the edge.

Not really a true near death experience but my seizure a few years ago scared the crap out of me and i thought i was going to die.

There have been some nasty drug and alcohol related experiences where I thought I was going to die. And my Grandpa pointing a rifle at me in the dark when I was headed to the bathroom. He thought I was a burglar. laugh.gif

Hit my head on the side of our pool. Jumped a little too far. Went KO under water. My friend jumped into the water and grabbed me by arm and pulled me out of the pool. Or so I've been told. I don't remember much beside a major headache and coughing up some water.

I pretty much owe that guy my life. Well, everybody would do the same thing, but still.

That was erm... 2 years ago I think. In summer.

I used to like taking a full breath of air and using the pool ladder to hold me down, so I could look at all the people through my goggles. After like the gazzilionth time I did that I decided to go up as normal, but my swimming trunks got caught between the ladder and the pool wall. I panicked, I struggled, I couldn't think clearly. I was taking in water. No one was going to get to me on time, seeing as everyone else was at the other end of the pool playing chicken wars. I seriously thought I was gonna die down there. i pulled all my strength together to pull and I ripped myself free. Needless to say I am never doing that again. mellow.gif

I darted through the woods, aimlessly tossing and turning my head around to look for my cottage. I should have never left the cabin to explore in the dark. I'm no ninja! I thought, my eyes watering up and my body quivering. "I can't make it out! I'm stuck in here! I'M NO NINJA!" I landed on my knees and squeezed the dirt under me. A small puddle of water appeared on a leaf; it was raining. I screamed and continued my search. That was, until I noticed a couple of wolves. The pack turned their heads, their fierce eyes aiming at me... and my blood. I instantaniously fled, and with that, the wolves began in pursuit after me. I continued to dash forward... hoping to find someone there, waiting to save me. Suddenly, I tripped over a loose root of a tree. My face crashed into the mud and leaves. I rolled onto my back and saw the wolves coming after me. "I can't do it, I can't do it," I repeated to myself, tears running down my cheek. Then, I found some sense of courage deep within me. "I've got nothing to lose." I stood up, stared deeply at the wolves. From there, I felt myself transform. I was in a ninja suit, my whole body covered in black. My whipped out my two ninja stars and whipped them at the pack. Two of the wolves were hit and they squealed wtih pain as they lay on the ground, still. I unshiefed my katana and stabbed the wolf in front. The last wolf quickly stopped in its tracks and looked unsure of what to do. I could hear it crying as it began to drag the dead wolves together. It looked like it didn't know I was even here. It was too distracted with the pain I had caused. The wolf looked so helpless and so busy with pushing the dead wolves into a pile. It was like these other wolves were its friends.
"I feel for you...," I said to the wolf, smiling. "But you love-childs tried to kill me!" I stabbed the last wolf with my katana, leaving it dead on the ground. I then proceeded to walk away, my footsteps crunching against the mud and leaves on the ground. I noticed a light in front of me. A smile stretched across my face. I had found my cabin. I had defeated the wolves that were after me. And I had survived, and that was all that mattered.
